Time is precious. Dementia scrambles it. One of the most challenging times of my life was spent witnessing my mother’s demise. She died twice. She was an artist and often told me that sometimes you need to know when something is finished, so you can start the next piece. I have been writing this song for a long time and have her in my mind telling me to finish it. I dedicate this to her, and her artistic wisdom.

Life is a journey. Sometimes easy. Sometimes difficult. Sometimes exhausting. Sometimes rewarding. This instrumental journey is one of those moments. The guitars were tracked with a few different guitars, all with different string gauges and tunings and different amps, rolled into one musical journey that somehow worked. I also added some 80s style keys, just because.
