We'll have canned drinks for $3 if you're thirsty on the day ✨

This is also your final opportunity to collect your art projects (as well as the ones on the wall)

We also would be incredibly thankful for donations to help us pay off the remaining bills 🩷🩵💛💜

To our wonderful community,
It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that 143 Sturt Street will no longer be the home of our community space. Despite our efforts and community support, we cannot afford the ongoing rental costs.

It has been a long journey of searching unsuccessfully for funding and relying on the incredible support from donations from individuals and local organisations, clubs and community groups.

We are grateful for every community member, volunteer and both current and previous board members who have kept our community space going - we couldn't have made it this far without y’all.

While we are devastated to say goodbye to our home for the past two years, the Drop In Care Space isn't going anywhere - we are working hard to find a new home for our community that is sustainable for our fledgling organisation.

DICS will be open till Sunday, the 25th of February.

We welcome everyone to come along, say goodbye and hang out at Sturt Street one last time. We will continue to share updates in regards to the next era of DICS.

As the 26th of January comes around, we remind our guests that the land we reside on is not ours. The Aboriginal people of this land were displaced, and our Government has done less thank the bare minimum to make reconcile with this.

We acknowledge, love, and appreciate the true custodians of this land, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. They cared for this lands for thousands of generations.

Sovereignty was never ceded.

Australia always was, and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
