Behind the scenes of this cup and saucer photograph.
The break in weather is what makes this photograph. When the sun broke through the clouds it not only brought out the colours but it makes the top half of the photograph really bright which contrasts with the darker foreground.
I had to be quick today as it rained all day and I needed to make the most of the short break in between showers. The rain lent perfectly for a raindrop theme across the 3 photographs.
When you have two light sources that are different colours, the camera can only get one colour balanced. This will mean that the other colour light will give a colour cast to your subject.
I may have gone back to my comfort zone with this challenge of close up photography. It was still a challenge to keep the exact syle across the different items.

Today’s prompt is Painfully Obvious. We're walking around and we see something that catches our eye. We stop, compose the photograph using the most obvious rule of composition and then move on. By sticking with the obvious composition we're missing out on what could potentially be a much better photograph.
