As the COVID-19 virus evolves to survive and spread, the way we protect ourselves has evolved as well.
'If this virus is so smart, then what's a simple mask going to do?' we hear you ask π€.
Simply put, masks do ALOT πͺ. Remember, one way COVID-19 spreads is through droplets. These droplets can enter your body through your eyes, nose π and mouth π β which provide a direct pathway to your throat and lungs. Covering your face with a mask can stop 50-80% of fine droplets, particles and aerosolsβ.
When you couple masks with social distancing π and washing your hands regularly π, the protection you give yourself and others can make a real difference.
For more information on why face masks are so effective, check our blog π
