A quick stop at my local , a visit to the deli, a couple of freshly baked rolls and 10 minutes later we’ve got these loaded Italian chopped sandwiches ready for race day.

The best part? There’s no right or wrong combination. Pick your favourite cold cuts, cheese and antipasto, chop everything together, drizzle over a little balsamic glaze and white wine vinegar, stuff it into a fresh bakery roll and you’re done.

Quick. Fresh. Packed with flavour. The ultimate last-minute meal to share with your mates.

Quick Recipe (Serves 2) 🥪

Ingredients
150g thinly sliced mortadella
150g sliced salami
100g sliced Provolone Dolce
Sun-dried tomatoes
Marinated artichokes
Pitted green olives
1 tbsp balsamic glaze
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 freshly baked IGA bread rolls

Method
- Roughly chop all the meats, cheese and antipasto ingredients.
- Drizzle with the balsamic glaze and white wine vinegar.
- Toss everything together until well combined.
- Fill the freshly baked rolls generously and enjoy!

But today, their numbers are declining rapidly.

Instead, shoppers are increasingly confronted with the mysterious phenomenon known as ‘Pre-Packaged Meat.’

Cody, however, continues to resist extinction.
