Mômo brings together Adam de la Cour’s key solo keyboard works, blending contemporary classical music with influences from psychotronic cinema, satire, vaudeville, and the grotesque. Performed by pianist Mark Knoop and clarinettist Carl Rosman, the album showcases virtuosic performances that fully embrace the music’s technical complexity, dark humor, and theatrical intensity.

American composer Huck Hodge creates music that is both intellectually rich and deeply poetic, exploring hidden connections between Eastern and Western artistic and philosophical traditions. Through luminous harmonies, expansive timbres, and a distinctive interplay of light and darkness, his works invite listeners into immersive and thought-provoking sonic worlds.

Bionic Environments by Qba Janicki explores the fusion of organic matter and mechanical intelligence through amplified soundboard, electronics, electromechanics, extended voice, and string orchestra. Built on controlled aleatorism and open improvisation, the work creates a cinematic sonic landscape where biological and technological behaviors evolve together in a shared symbiosis.

Delicate, focused, and unmistakably original, Giorgos Koumendakis’ works for piano reveal a distinctive compositional voice. At the heart of the album is Mediterranean Desert, a cycle of 22 pieces inspired by Mediterranean flora and fauna, evoking the landscapes and ecosystems of the region.

This album offers a retrospective view of Luigi Manfrin’s compositional journey, tracing recurring ideas, transformations, and returns rather than following a chronological path. United by an exploration of sound as an immanent experience, the works continually question the threshold where sound emerges, evolves, and fades toward inaudibility.

Rand Steiger’s Introspective Trilogy is a powerful series of string quartets with electronics, composed over eight years for the JACK Quartet. Through immersive spatial sound, the work reflects on anger, grief, and political upheaval, while connecting today’s rise in authoritarianism and xenophobia with the composer’s Jewish-European family history.

Ashes presents six works by composer Davor Vincze, whose music transforms technology, philosophy, and lived experience into compelling sonic narratives. United by themes of chaos, decay, and transformation, the album reveals a distinctive musical voice shaped by the search for hidden acoustic worlds.
