A strong first half-year 🔥

The Austria Center Vienna looks back on a very strong first half-year. Between January and June, 43 events with 92,752 participants continued the positive development in the two strategic core segments: international congresses and corporate events.

The consistent focus on international congresses and high-quality corporate events is proving to be a key success factor. Both segments strengthen Vienna’s international visibility and generate important economic impulses for Vienna and Austria.

„Strong demand confirms our strategic course. International congresses and corporate events bring value creation, knowledge and international networks to Vienna. The Austria Center Vienna thereby makes an important contribution to the competitiveness and appeal of the location,“ says Mag. Dr. Susanne Baumann-Söllner.

After an intensive first half-year, the calendar remains densely booked through to the end of the year, with international congresses, corporate events and national large-scale events on the programme, followed by the traditional December Christmas party season.

Your delegates don’t arrive at the venue. They arrive after a journey. 🚀

Our Managing Director Susanne Baumann-Söllner came back from this year’s tourism conference with one message that matters for every congress planner: guests don’t think in providers. They don’t separate flight, train, taxi and venue. They rate the whole trip, front door to conference door. And what decides how they travel is comfort, time and safety. Not sacrifice, and rarely sustainability. 🙏

That’s why our location does a lot of the work for you.

The U1 station Kaisermühlen VIC is a few minutes’ walk from the entrance. 🚆 Stephansplatz in 7 minutes, the airport in about half an hour. No shuttle fleet, no parking plan for 5,000 people at once.
