It’s a gray, heavy-looking day in Slovakia. Again.

It would be wise not to make choices from fear, shame, or obligation. Wise to choose what enriches our lives instead.
That can look like many things—and for me, this morning, with some news I’m dealing with and missing my daughter in Colorado, it looks simple:

A warm, gluten-free slice of something nourishing (and yes—maybe a little indulgent), with a cup of coffee. I can already feel how much I’ll enjoy it, and how that small pleasure will lift me.

Sometimes we let other people’s voices tell us what’s “good” or “bad” for us. But if something is kind to your body and gentle on your spirit, it can be exactly what you need.

So today, let’s do one thing that feeds you deeply—something that meets your needs, and offers a little comfort to your softer places. 💙
