History of the MINI mini restaurant and surrounding area:

The MINI Restaurant is located in the 6th district of Vienna - Marchettigasse, which is named after the side dye Johann Baptist Marchetti, who lived from 1762 to 1846 and worked as a silk dye and in 1801 read the first house in this Building alley.

Our restaurant itself is located in the Marchettischlössl, once a hunting castle, in Gumpendorf in front of Vienna, and was liberated from its Sleeping Beauty Sleep by an architectural office, revitalized and revived in the Marchettigasse by a residential building, behind the listed facade and offers with the green inner courtyard, which is shadowed by a lime tree, also a quiet island to the Gumpendorferstrasse.

There is an indirect connection between the denomination of Adventists and the embossed time of advent, since both names refer to the arrival of Christ.

The Advent Season is known as the quiet time of the year, but often stress and hustle occurs exactly the days before Christmas. Instead of enjoying the pre-Christmas mood, spending hours with the family and strolling through the beautifully decorated Christmas Markets, the advent season is often characterized by preparations, shopping and celebrations.

Advent bezeichnet die Jahreszeit, in der die Christenheit sich auf das Fest der Geburt Jesu Christi, Weihnachten, vorbereitet und der Advent beginnt nach katholischer wie evangelischer Tradition mit der Vesper am Vorabend des ersten Adventssonntags und mit ihm auch das neue Kirchenjahr.

Zwischen der Konfession der Adventisten und der geprägten Zeit des Advents besteht eine mittelbare Verbindung, da sich beide Bezeichnungen auf die Ankunft Christi beziehen.

Die Adventszeit ist bekannt als die ruhige Zeit im Jahr, doch kommt oft genau an den Tagen vor dem Weihnachtsfest Stress und Hektik auf. Anstatt die vorweihnachtliche Stimmung zu genießen, Stunden mit der Familie zu verbringen und durch die wunderschön geschmückten Christkindlmärkte zu schlendern, ist die Adventszeit oft von Vorbereitungsarbeiten, Einkäufen und Feiern geprägt.
