Today at the European Para Youth Games Legacy Initiative: Policy and Development Hubs we covered inclusion initiatives and funding 🔝
We heard insightful talks from:
✅️ Njomza Emini (Executive Board Member, European Paralympic Committee and President of Kosovo Paralympic Conmittee) – Small Country, Big Impact: Developing Inclusive Para Sport Initiatives.
✅️Andre de Jeu (ACES) – Strengthening Inclusive Sport & Para Sport.
✅️ Serkan Baltaci (Turkiye Paralympic Committee) – The Art of Diversifying Funding Sources.
✅️ Celine Guth (Council of Europe, Sport Division) – From Policy Commitments to Meaningful Participation.
After a working lunch delegates went into the city to explore the sights followed by an evening on The Bosphorus river 🕌 ⛴️

Day one of the Policy and Development Hubs is in the books!
Today we covered themes of law, governance, inclusion, advocacy and learning and development as well as introducing the Para Digital Academy (coming soon to a computer near you), ParaManager and the Para School Programme.
Huge thanks to our speakers, Vera Bonvalot, Patrick Stolpmann, Pedro Trovão do Rosário, Daniel Monteiro, Vasilis Kalyvas and Jasna Drenjak and all Members and collaborators for their full engagement in the workshops and activities.

The stage is set for the 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Nottwil 🇨🇭
From 21–23 May, more than 450 athletes from 58 nations will compete at the fourth stop of the WPA Grand Prix season, bringing together world-class talent from across the globe.
With wheelchair racing legends ready to headline an exciting three days of competition, Nottwil once again promises elite performances, unforgettable moments, and the very best of Para athletics.
You may fall alone, but you’ll never rise alone.

On World Fair Play Day we are proud to announce that we are now signatories of the global Fair Play Manifesto.
A relationship with the European Fair Play Movement that began more than a decade ago continues to grow 🌱
The Manifesto was signed by European Paralympic Committee Vice-President, Natalja Novikova, and Athletes' Council Chair, Markus Salcher, on behalf of the Executive Board at their latest meeting in Vienna. Both are former Para athletes which made the signing even more significant.
