In “The Happiness of Others – Becoming Viennese Edition”, Elsa Martini explores the fragile intersections of memory, trauma, and family history.
Through paintings, objects, and domestic elements from Austria, Italy, and Albania, she creates an immersive installation that bridges private narratives and collective experience.
Rooted in Vienna’s psychoanalytic tradition, the exhibition invites reflection on silence, guilt, and transgenerational healing — where art becomes a space for dialogue between history and the present.

We are All Refugees by Adi Atassi - Limited Edition Series (1 to 15) signed by the artists.
This series reflects the shared vulnerability and resilience that connect us all. The first painting in the series, with its solitary, outstretched figure, embodies displacement and survival a body marked by pain but refusing erasure. Behind the figure, boats crowd a restless horizon, echoing journeys taken in desperation, hope, and defiance. The collective clusters of figures and fragmented spaces that suggest community, memory, and the search for belonging. The layered strokes and fractured forms speak to the chaos of exile, but also to the strength found in solidarity. The red and purple tones hint at both wounds and renewal, while the scattered lines evoke movement migration as an ongoing, unending story.
“Through these paintings, I explore the idea that refugee is not an identity limited to borders or headlines but a universal human condition. Whether through loss, transformation, or the search for safety and meaning, we all encounter moments of displacement. These works invite viewers to see themselves in these figures to recognize empathy as a shared homeland.” - Adi Atassi -
