We are taking a short break and are closed from Dec, 24th until Jan, 11th.

For film drop-offs you can post your film or use our 24/7 Drop Off Box right outside the office in the yard. The box will be checked regularly.

We start developing your films and send all your orders on Mon, Jan 12th.

dear all, I am on a little summer break to shoot some film myself.

I am back July, 30th and start developing your films on July, 31st. also, all your online orders are processed and sent out immediately after my return.

in the meantime please know that all your packages and film deliveries are taken care of by my lovely colleague and all drop-off points are in use and collected as usual.

Raoul Peck – Oscar-nominated for I Am Not Your Negro – returns to cinemas with an award-winning documentary: he tells the moving story of South African photographer Ernest Cole, whose artistic estate, consisting of 60,000 photo negatives, was discovered in a Swedish bank vault in 2017.

We are giving away 5x2 tickets. All you need to do is leave a comment and tag the person you would like to watch the film with.

The vouchers are valid nationwide in Austria and can be redeemed for any screening where the film is shown.

The giveaway runs until Wed Tue, 29th.

It’s Earth Day. I want to use this occasion as a call for action and tell you more about what happens after you receive the scans:

Your negatives will be cut, sleeved, and archived with us for up to 6 months. After this period, we will return all negatives in a single shipment.

If you want to pick them up personally and save on shipping costs you can come anytime during our opening hours.

Also, and this is the important part, let us know if you don’t want to keep your negatives and we can discard them right after scanning. In that case we can reduce a fair amount of plastic.

Thanks a lot for making this conscious choice and helping us do better.

PLUSFOTO ZIEHT NACH WIEN

Liebe plusfoto-Community, liebe Kundinnen und Kunden,

wir freuen uns euch mit schönen Nachrichten zu erreichen. Nach 25 Jahren plusfoto in Wilhelmsburg ist es Zeit für ein neues Kapitel: plusfoto und unser analoges Fotoservice zieht nach Wien.

Nach 25 schönen Jahren sowie den damit verbundenen Erinnerungen in unserem Familienunternehmen ist das Loslassen nicht ganz einfach und die Entscheidung hat einige Zeit gereift. Jetzt ist es umso schöner eine wunderbare Location gefunden zu haben, diese Veränderung zu wagen und meinem Vater seinen Ruhestand zu gönnen. Ich bin sehr dankbar für die gemeinsame Zeit, den Austausch und die vielen lustigen Stunden in unserem Reich und freue mich jetzt das Labor nachhause zu holen.

Wie geht es konkret weiter?

* Bis inklusive Mittwoch, 8. Mai wird das Labor wie gewohnt bis 18.00 in Wilhelmsburg geöffnet sein. (Printbestellungen sind noch bis 7. Mai möglich, Rahmenbestellungen bis spätestens 30. April.)

* 9. – 12. Mai findet das große Umziehen statt. (Achtung: am Freitag,10. Mai ist das Labor geschlossen.)

* Ab 14. Mai findet befindet sich unser Labor und Produktionsstätte in der Stolzenthalergasse 6/1b, 1080 Wien

Wir stehen euch für jegliche Fragen und Anregungen persönlich im Labor, telefonisch oder per E-Mail zur Verfügung. Weitere Details zum neuen Labor werden folgen.

Wir wollen uns bei euch für die vielen lieben Besuche, Gespräche und Geschichten hinter euren Bildern bedanken. Es war und ist uns wirklich eine Freude mit euren Filmen und Bildern arbeiten zu dürfen – jetzt bald an einer neuen Location, aber mit gleich viel Liebe und Freude für die analoge Fotografie!
