Born of a friendship formed at London's Royal College of Music over 10 years ago and boasting a discography of seven recordings, the Busch Trio comprises violinist Mathieu van Bellen and brothers, pianist Omri and cellist Ori Epstein. The Trio’s ambitious project to record the complete Beethoven piano trios launches with the Op. 1 trios (Nos. 1 and 3) and the “Gassenhauer” Trio, with Mathieu’s beautiful G.B. Guadagnini violin replacing the clarinet.
