It has been two years since I last posted and find myself back in Freeport ME. Cheryl and I met in Maine when we were grade school, spent our honeymoon in Maine 44 years ago this week. Over those 44 years we have found our way back to Maine every three or four years and have many great memories of our childhood in Rockport and visits since. We came here as we starting a new venture.

My favorite day of the year is the day we good back to Mallnitz for the summer… ending the day at is just icing on the cake.

Midsummer Day 2023. Holmestrand, Norway 9:00 PM

We have found Holmestrand to be a great place for boot camp to get ready for hiking in Mallnitz. Increasing our walking distance, using Real Time Pain Relief for the sore muscles, we should be ready to add the mountains by the time we get to Mallnitz July 1st.

Holmestrand, Norway. Our first impressions of this quiet little seaside (fjord) town are that will be fun to explore and a great place to work from for the next two weeks.
