We will have two speakers tomorrow.
1) Monika will reflect on her learning experience at Toastmasters and will be evaluated by our „newcomer“ Janja. 🎉
2) Our new president Christian will give an overview of pathways (our educational program to become an effective public speaker) for our new members. 🤓

The grand final 🥁 will be table topics! Here we all practice to think on our toes 🦶and give a spontaneous speech 🗣 with a length of 1-2 minutes about a random topic. Preparation time: 5 seconds ⏱Sounds scary, but is actually lots of FUN! 😂

Our last meeting 📅 was great, we obviously had lots of fun 😄 and the next one is coming up 🔜.

Our next meeting will take place on Monday, 3rd of May, 2021 at 7pm (CET). We will have two speeches from our members as well as an impromptu speaking session, which challenges us to slip into the shoes of a salesperson 💁‍♂️💁‍♀️.

Last Monday we had a wonderful club evening with one contest speech 🎤 and one spontaneous speech about the book "Blackout", 📚 wich ended in quite a discussion.

During Table Topics we learned several useful 👐 ✋ sign language words. Which of the signs in our picture stands for "Corona Test" or "Zoom"? ➡️ Leave a comment, we let you know, if you are right.

Our next meeting will take place on 📅 Monday, 5th of April. It's gonna be an easter special. 🐇 So make sure, you have your virtual Easter backgrounds and rabbit ears ready. 🤪
