Cetatea Tricule, or the Tricule Fortress, a medieval structure right at the Danube riverside in Romania, was built sometimes between the 13. century and the 15. century and it got partially submerged during the build of the Iron Gate I Hydroelectric Power Station.

The featured artist of Today is Nina Todorović, http://www.ninatodorovic.com. She collaborated on the CultPlatForm Pilot Project "Hidden Heritage" and participated in the exhibition held in the Golubac Fortress.

Halmyris, founded during the reign of Trajan, was a Roman and Byzantine fort at the Danube Delta in Romania. The fort is currently being excavated.
