|| Leo Mayrs || new work || Homo Viennensis || seeks to shed greater light on society and questions of belonging. In Distinction, Bourdieu already described how our social conditioning shapes us and, in turn, the object culture that accompanies it. At the same time, however, we are also shaped by the objects and things we consume and surround ourselves with.
Objects often contain hidden desires, social codes, and references to the ways in which their users and owners perceive themselves and are perceived by others.

|| Gertraud Köck || explores in her artistic practice the interrelations between materiality, perception, and spatiality, as well as the systems of order and hierarchies at work within them. Her works question established attributions and make visible the ambivalent structures underlying them. In doing so, they create a field of tension between visibility and invisibility, the familiar and the foreign, order and dissolution.

||Christian Murzek|| searches digitally on the computer or analogously within the respective medium for a translation that reflects his autobiographical position. Codes and algorithms thus serve as starting points for the artistic realization. This form of investigation allows him to renegotiate, reflect upon, and make tangible the tensions inherent in his work.
