This is your sign to go helicopter flying. 🚁
Say hello to the Lamanna Helicopter ESCAPE. It features a titanium alloy frame. That makes the helicopter incredibly light but very strong. It handles tough conditions with ease.
You can fly it with our Rotax 915 iS or 916 iS engine. Both give you an amazing power to weight ratio. You get great performance even at high altitudes. The fuel injected turbo engines deliver constant and reliable power. That means quick takeoffs and a safe flight.
We are proud to see our engines powering this amazing machine.

Exactly the reel you needed to kick off the week.
Student pilots, backcountry explorers, weekend cruisers: whatever you fly, wherever you take off, this one's for everyone who'd rather be flying right now. 🛩️

For this , we are taking a closer look at the Tecnam Aircraft P2006T NG.

This twin-engine four-seater aircraft is powered by two of our Rotax 912 iSc3 engines. Thanks to modern fuel injection, it burns just 14 liters (3.7 USG) of fuel per hour per engine. That makes it a real game-changer, and not just for flight schools.

It reaches a max cruise speed of 148 knots (274 km/h) with a range of 930 nautical miles. With a maximum takeoff weight of 1,290 kg and a useful load of 410 kg, it is built to perform. Features like retractable landing gear, variable pitch MT propellers, and the Garmin TAS 800 bring true airliner-style training to the cockpit.

Over 300 design improvements make the NG version even better for modern general aviation. We are proud to see Rotax engines power the next generation of aviators.

A huge shoutout to our friends at Tecnam Aircraft for sharing these pictures with us! ✈️

Over 50 years of Rotax Aircraft Engines in one place. From the classic 642 that started our journey to today's turbocharged engines with modern iS technology and electronic fuel injection.

That is five decades of innovation, reliability, and pure flying joy.

Do you remember your very first flight with a Rotax engine? Which engine was it?

Fly-Ins are all about making memories and connecting with the community.

Looking back at the Rotax Fly-In Austria 2026, one of our favorite moments was catching up with multi-time German Aerobatic Champion Martin Albrecht right in front of his airplane before his display.
Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us, Martin!

Flying over Alaska’s remote backcountry means trusting your aircraft completely. For Gary Green, that aircraft is the rugged Zlin Aviation Norden, powered by a limited edition Rotax 915 iS turbocharged engine. With mountains, glaciers, and untouched wilderness below, every flight is a reminder: the rougher the terrain, the more rewarding the view.

Take a closer look at this fine 3D print of a Rotax 912 aircraft engine. 🛩️ With only 3-5 of these models ever made, they mark the beginning of a journey that started around 18-23 years ago when we installed our very first 3D printer at Rotax.

🌽 Made from cornstarch and primarily used for prototyping, these prints represent the early steps toward the advanced, production-ready components we craft today. Now, Rotax boasts a state-of-the-art 3D printing facility that produces operational (metallic) components.

So, if you will, the 912 cornstarch models were the beginning of 3D printing at Rotax, and this 3D print is a reminder of how fast technology evolves. And it’s damn good-looking too. 😍
