SALSA Madras

Under the famous Uhrturm and above the red rooftops of the Mur river city, a new home for Latin dance opened its doors. Since 2022, Salsa Madras Graz has grown into Austria's most vibrant Latin dance community and our flagship studio.

Dance. Community. Beyond borders. Whether you are a local, a student or new in town, Graz welcomes you with open arms, warm music and a floor full of friendly faces ready to dance with you.

Every story has a first chapter, and ours was written in Chennai. Since 2014, this sun-soaked city by the Bay of Bengal has been the original home of Salsa Madras, where salsa, bachata and kizomba first found a dance floor and a devoted community.

From temple towers to the seafront, Chennai gave the rhythm its roots and its heart. The legacy started here, and it keeps growing with every class, every social and every new dancer who discovers what Latin dance can feel like in the city of Madras.

Three cities. One studio spirit. Salsa Madras Studios bring Latin dance communities to life in Chennai, India, and in Graz and Klagenfurt, Austria, and every one of them is built on the same idea: learn, connect, dance.

Step into a class and you step into a community. You will find Salsa, including ON1 and ON2 and the Pachanga foundation, plus Bachata and Kizomba, taught with the same care and the same foundation in every city. Come alone, come with friends, come curious. You will leave with new steps, new people and a bigger smile.
