onQ.20 festival - celebrate the beginning after the end!
onQ.20 ist ein Festival, das aus der Quarantäne entstanden ist - und sie beenden wird! www.onq20.com
Das onQ.20 Festival entstand auf auf Initiative von Tobias Vedovelli und Michael Tiefenbacher aus dem Konzept, sich zu Zeiten der Ausgangsbeschränkungen ganz im Sinne von (oder besser: trotz) "Social Distancing" ein musikalisch kompositorisches Arbeitsumfeld zu schaffen.
Daraus wurde schnell ein viel größeres Projekt, in das eine Reihe bekannter heimischer Musiker*innen involviert sind, die alle auch während der Quarantäne an gemeinsamer Musik weiter arbeiten wollten. Die Musik aus dieser Zeit bringen wir nun auf die Bühne und läuten damit auch offiziell die Wiedereröffnung des Porgy & Bess nach der Quarantäne ein! Am 2. und 3.September hostet der Club das Festival mit 6 Sets an 2 Abenden, mit unzähligen Musiker*innen die jene Musik präsentieren werden, die trotz, wegen und während der Quarantäne enstand!
