UAE VAT Penalty Update – Effective 14 April 2026

The UAE has introduced revised VAT administrative penalties under Cabinet Decision No. 129 of 2025, reducing penalties for certain administrative violations while maintaining strict enforcement for major non-compliance cases.
Key changes include reduced penalties for:
- Prices displayed without VAT
- Late issuance of Tax Invoices
- Late issuance of Tax Credit Notes
- E-invoicing non-compliance
