That’s why we’re all in this collective, working to protect the sea. Because creativity helps us remember that we belong to it 💙

🦀 It all started with a horseshoe crab on a Long Island beach.

That moment of wonder launched - goalkeeper - onto a lifetime of curiosity about what lives beneath the waves.

⚽️ For this incredible football player, the ocean isn’t an escape - it’s a reset. A chance to be reminded of how extraordinary this blue planet of ours really is.

🌊 This is why she dives. This is why she advocates. This is why we’re so lucky to have her as an ambassador of Ocean Rising.

🐋 Meet the incredible - our newest Ocean Rising ambassador!

Tessa is a phenomenal ocean advocate and one of Britain’s leading animal sculptors.

👏 Her art has been displayed all around! Including the iconic and the - even for the late Queen Elizabeth II.

🌊 For the last few years, she’s turned her attention to the sea, and to s***m whales, which she sculpts from discarded ghost nets.

💬 “As an Ocean Rising ambassador I hope my work can help more people to notice, to care, and to act for the ocean.”

Meet our newest Ocean Rising Ambassador: 🙌

⛵Lisa is a record-breaking solo sailor, author and explorer. She’s circumnavigated Antarctica alone, and is now preparing a new voyage into the Arctic.

Yet what sets her apart isn’t just the extreme nature of her voyages - it’s the way she tells them. Her amazing ability to turn these solo ocean journeys into stories of true courage and deep care for the planet.

🩵 Though her book, film and live talks, Lisa invites new audiences into the emotional reality of life on the water: the fear, the awe, and the deep ocean connection underneath it all.

As an Ambassador, she’ll be helping us explore how combining adventure, science and culture can help reimagine our relationship with the sea.

Our very own recently attended ’s show at the - and she’s still thinking about it.

At one point, the whole hall went dark. Whale sounds filled the room.

Then came the audience interaction...

🌊5,000 people were invited to be the wave, sending a ripple of movement around one of the world’s most legendary venues.

This is exactly what we believe at Ocean Rising. That the ocean doesn’t need a lecture to be felt. It needs a shared moment of awe. An original instigator. a packed room, and suddenly strangers can be experiencing their connection to the blue, together.

✨⚽️ Phallon Tullis-Joyce! ⚽️✨

Goalkeeper for Manchester United Women & the US Women’s National Team, Phallon brings her incredible drive and love of the ocean to our mission. Her passion for the sea runs deep - from being a keen diver, studying marine biology and balancing elite sport.

From the pitch, for the planet, Phallon reminds us that protecting the ocean is a team effort. We’re so pleased to have her in the squad.

The Ocean Rising Alliance is full of inspiring folks, so we decided to start a series featuring them.

Today we’re starting with the one and only !

🎹 She’s a classical piano prodigy, scuba diver, freediver, actress, AND ocean activist who personifies sea creatures in a theatrical extravaganza. So of course we’re fans.

Em’s range is wild. Someone who can perform with Lang Lang at 13, writes original musicals, and somehow makes conservation wildly entertaining. She even hosted a show with the Treaty to celebrate it hitting 60 ratifications!

🧜‍♀️And she isn’t just singing about the ocean - she’s in it. As a Beach Captain for Heal the Bay, an Ambassador for WHALEFALL, and a certified diver who actually hangs out with the creatures she performs as, she’s constantly putting her fins where her mic is.

We’re beyond proud to have this absolute force of nature in our alliance.
