The school recently held an Investiture Ceremony at the Dining Main Hall. The ceremony was held to administer oath to the newly installed Prefects body. All learners participated in the ceremomy, in addition to the parents of the prefect designates who had been specially invited to grace the auspicious occasion.
Prior to this ceremony, the incoming Prefects participated in activities designed to guide them in fulfilling their duties, for which they participated with enthusiasm. They enjoyed the experience and vowed to take forward and implement the newly learned skills.

Boot camp classes are a specialised program with high-intensity interval training and functional physical and mental exercises. It was a hype of activity as Amai Mugabe Senior School recently held its Form 1 Boot camp at Frontline Institute. The envision was to accentuate adaptation to their new learning environment and inculcation of school affiliation and a sense of belonging through life lessons.
An array of gruelling team building, grooming and etiquette sessions were lined up to foster mental and spiritual maturity.
The boot camp delivered the most benefit to those who made the most effort.

AMHS PAN AFRICAN SCHOOLS' DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR.
After winning both the Provincial and National Schools Debate championship, AMHS Debate and Public Speaking Team attended the Pan African Schools' Debate Championship on the 28th of November in Tanzania. The Debate team emerged victorious to become the regional champions.
The success of the team can be attributed to their remarkable debating skills, dedication, and hard work. The school and parents have played a significant role in supporting the team, and their efforts have contributed to the astounding success.
We wish the AMHS Debate and Public Speaking Team the best of luck in their upcoming competitions.

It was CELEBRATION TIME as Amai Mugabe Junior School hosted a leavers' party for it's anointed 2023 Grade 7 class of Jewels.
It was a befitting send off for this brilliant class of Kings and Queens with girls wearing designer dresses and boys neatly clad in suits and tuxedos.

It was an impressive outing for our AMHS athletics team as they out muscled the fancied Lady Eneretta International school athletics team @ BUSE sports grounds. It was a pulsating all round performance from track to field events.

As the world sentiment moves towards entrepreneurship, more and more students are inclining towards technical education that imparts knowledge of practical skill while promoting independent workers and entrepreneurs.
Amai Mugabe Group of schools offer technical skills right from the primary level to encourage students to hone their skills and propagate inherent talents. Our technical classes are a hub of excitement that our learners look forward to each week.

Prefects play a key role in the academic and social life of the school, helping pupils achieve the most they can. Amai Mugabe Senior School says a big thank you to our outgoing 2022 student leadership team of Prefects. Our prefects team has been remarkable. Their ingenuity and goodwill shone during their reign. Amongst their achievements are buddying (care and support) of younger pupils. We thank them for their contribution to the school community. The team took forward initiatives in important aspects of school life. The outgoing prefects team will be passing on the baton to the next team for the year 2023. We wish the new team the best of luck in this exciting chapter as leaders.

Hearty congratulations to TINASHE DHINIKA our current Ordinary level student and reigning Sportsperson of the year for excelling in Volleyball. The lanky Right Side Hitter is currently under Beach Volleyball camp and games at Olympic Youth Development Centre in Zambia. He is set to participate in the Zone 6 Beach Volleyball series in South africa in January.

Warmest congratulations are in order for our own VERONICA VENGESA, the reigning Mazowe Junior MP for clinching first position in Public speaking in the just ended International Public Speaking Debate challenge in Nairobi. She is still in her first year at Amai Mugabe Senior School but came victorious competing against University students across Africa. A great future lies ahead.
