Great news for Bindura! 🙌 A 22km water pipeline is currently under construction, linking Masembura Dam to Bindura town.

💰 This US$3 million project is being spearheaded by ZINWA, with funding from Freda Rebecca Gold Mine (US$1.8m) and Bindura Municipality (US$1.2m).

Once complete, this development will finally ease the long-standing water shortages that have affected residents and industries for decades. 🏘️🏭

This pipeline will not only ensure reliable water supply for households but also support Bindura’s growing industrial and mining demand. 🚜⚒️

🏗️ Hwange Update: Big Moves for Power & Infrastructure!

🔌 Major upgrades are underway at Hwange Thermal Power Station: older units are being refurbished, and new ones (Units 7 & 8) have been added or are being tested/synchronized to the grid.

💡 This means more stable power for Zimbabwe — a boost for homes, industries, and everything in between.

🌱 In addition to coal-based expansion, there’s growing momentum around solar projects (like Cross Mabale) and other renewable energy efforts in the region.

🐘 Wildlife and communities are also part of the conversation — there are efforts to manage elephant movement, drought relief (rainwater harvesting, boreholes), and balancing ecological needs with growth.

🤝 All in all: Hwange is not just part of the upcoming power story — it is a key part.
