The Word of God was never given just for reading or memorizing.
It was given so that God’s children carry His thoughts.
Because you cannot rule in a realm you don’t understand.
When you begin to know what God knows—
your thinking changes,
your perspective shifts,
and your authority becomes evident.
You stop reacting like everyone else…
and start responding from divine understanding.
That’s how dominion works.
Not by effort.
But by alignment with God’s mind.
The question is,
are your thoughts truly aligned with His?

And God said—and it was so.
He didn’t negotiate with darkness.
He spoke light into existence.
You were created in His image
which means you were designed to function the same way.
Stop arguing with what is wrong.
Stop adjusting to what contradicts God’s will.
Speak. Align. Establish.
Because when you speak in alignment with God,
you don’t manage darkness
you displace it.

When the Word abides in you, your desires are no longer random or driven by impulse.
They are purified by truth, formed by revelation, and aligned with the will of God.
You begin to desire what God has already ordained.
This is the power of communion with the Word—
it doesn’t just change what you say, it transforms what you want.
Abide in the Word, and let your desires be shaped by His voice.

When the Word abides in you, it is no longer something you consult, it becomes something you embody.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night Joshua 1:8

The Word of God was not given for information, inspiration, or even memorization alone.
It was given for ex*****on.
If the Word does not move from: revelation → conviction → action,
then it has been reduced to theory in your life.

You haven’t made the Word “of no effect” in itself.
What you’ve done is neutralize its effect in your life through contradiction.
Contradiction is not just emotional. It’s a habitual agreement with the wrong voice.
Speak the Word
Most people can handle the first slap…
But can you take the second without losing your peace?
Your words are never small.
They carry weight. They release life — or destruction.
Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Jesus also warns that we will give account for every careless word.
When you are hurt, who controls your tongue?
Peace begins with disciplined speech. Growth begins with guarded words.
Choose life. Speak wisely.
Is obedience still worth it in a world that rewards shortcuts?
God’s ways are not always easy, but they are always right. In Part 2 of Walking the Ways of God, we explore the hidden blessings, clarity, and strength that come from choosing obedience—even when it costs.
Blessed are those who walk in His ways. Psalm 128:1
Walk the narrow path. It still leads to life.
NarrowWay
A grateful heart opens the door, and a believing heart walks in. When we thank God in every circumstance and trust His promises, we position ourselves to see His goodness unfold in our lives.
Experiencing God’s goodness begins with a surrendered heart. When we seek Him above His gifts, trust Him in every season, and walk in obedience, our eyes are opened to see His hand at work daily. His goodness is not distant—it is revealed to those who dwell in His presence and follow His ways.
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Psalm 34:8
Many pursue God for what His hands can release, but few remain for who His heart reveals. Relationship is where the goodness of God is truly experienced—not as an idea, not as a testimony borrowed from others, but as a lived reality. When intimacy is absent, faith becomes transactional, prayers become demands, and God is reduced to a provider rather than a Father.
