📌 Chicken Curry

Ingredients:

• 700-800g chicken, cut into pieces
• 1 teaspoon Karinga Mild Curry Powder
• 1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, pressed
• 1 large tomato, grated or finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
• 1 teaspoon paprika powder
• 1 tablespoon tomato paste
• 1 tablespoon plain yoghurt
• Salt & pepper, to taste
• Oil

Method:

1️⃣ In a large bowl, mix chicken pieces with Karinga Mild Hot Curry powder, salt, black pepper, chilli flakes, paprika powder, yogurt, tomato paste and a little oil.
2️⃣ Add marinated chicken pieces to a large saucepan and gently cook on medium heat. Cook until chicken juices run clear.
3️⃣ If required, occasionally add a little water to prevent from burning.
4️⃣ Once chicken is cooked, add onions, tomatoes, and garlic to the saucepan and mix gently. Allow to cook for another 10 minutes.
5️⃣ Garnish chicken curry with freshly chopped coriander.
6️⃣ Serve with rice.
