DONT!
• Leave clatter around the yard or near perimeter fences
• Keep large trees near house walls/perimeter fence
these can be a means for easy access to intruders.

DO!
• Clear rubble, scrap metal, drums and other bulky items away from buildings and perimeter fences.
• Prune overhanging trees, shrubs and some hedges that are near buildings and perimeter fences as these can be used as a ladder into your premises
• Urgently repair damaged sections of perimeter fence or wall
• Always put away stools and ladders.
• Lock gates, garage doors, sheds, and other outdoor buildings.
• Don’t tempt thieves by leaving pricey goods on display in the yard.
• Add security signs and stickers—even if you don't have a security system.
