The National Heritage Council (NHC) invites registered NPOs to submit proposals aimed at addressing the basic and essential needs of communities.

Focus Areas
Community development and poverty alleviation
Youth and empowerment of vulnerable groups
Promotion of Ubuntu values, social cohesion, and nation-building

Application Dates
Opening Date: 01 April 2026
Closing Date: 31 May 2026

Who Can Apply
Registered non-profit organisations (NPOs) based in South Africa.

How to Apply
Submit the following documents:

NPO registration certificate

Our next Silent Book Club Harare meetup is around the corner. We'll be meeting at Alliance Francaise de Harare this Saturday at 12.30PM , and registrations are still open (we're currently on 69 registrations). Please note that no refreshments will be sold at the venue, so you can bring your own refreshments. We will also be starting the silent reading at 1pm and not 2PM. Feel free to bring a cushion, picnic blanket or camping chair because seating is limited. If you have books that you would like to give away, we're still running the LLBS book drive, so you can bring books to donate to the event.
