A well-dressed man walked into a car rental office and asked to speak to the manager.

“Do you have a Toyota Fortuner available?” he asked.

“Yes, sir.”

“Can I book it?”

The manager smiled.

The customer arrived, checked the vehicle, smiled, collected the keys and drove away.

Nothing unusual.

Exactly one year later, the same customer returned.

“Do you have a Toyota Fortuner available for the 19th?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Can I book it in advance?”

“Of course.”

Again, the vehicle was prepared. Again, he arrived, collected the keys and drove away.

The manager became curious.

Why did this man always book in advance?

Why the same date?

Why the same vehicle?

He decided to ask.

The following year, on the very first day of the month, the customer walked in again.

“Do you have a vehicle available for the 19th?”

The manager smiled.

“I already know what you're going to ask.”

The customer smiled back.

“Then you already know why I'm here.”

“Tell me,” the manager said. “Why do you always book your car so early?”

The customer leaned closer.

“If I tell you, will you promise not to tell anyone?”

“I promise.”

“Do you swear?”

“I swear.”

So the customer finally revealed his secret.

Unfortunately, the manager has promised never to reveal it.

So, until he breaks his promise, I can't tell you either.
