🚛 These components are active elements in the of and their purpose is to transform the pneumatic pressure into mechanical power for the brake application.
⚠ The process can be carried out by applying the service brake (brake pedal) or the parking brake (handbrake).
🛠 According to UNECE R13 regulation, the parking brake must be entirely mechanical. Therefore, this type of actuator has a powerful spring to exert adequate mechanical braking force.
🧐 In a situation, to relieve the parking brake, the spring is disabled by a pressure inlet (connection 12). However, when the actuator does not receive pressure through this connection, the spring exerts braking force.
✅ To and install the , the spring must be disabled. To do so, these actuators have a locking device that disables this spring, facilitating thus their handling. There are different locking devices to carry out this function depending on each application and the assembling space available.

Bus, ruck and trailer spares. Competitively priced, quality aftermarket spares suitable for all European & American trucks, buses and trailers.
AM Bus and Truck (Pvt) Ltd was started by Anthony Malakou in conjunction with Stephanie Harrison in December 1991, they were joined shortly afterwards by Paul Comberbach the following year. With over 25 years prior experience in the trade, AM Bus and Truck grew rapidly from a small family business to one of the leading importers, stockists and distributors of original and aftermarket DAF, SCANIA and VOLVO heavy duty spares in Zimbabwe. DAF engines represent and power some 60-70% of the national fleet of heavy duty vehicles in Zimbabwe and AM Bus and Truck supplies directly to about 95% of all DAF end users.
AM Bus and Truck has always prided itself with providing quality spares at affordable prices and has worked closely with its customers and suppliers over the years to create a product range second to none. Strong relationships have been built through the years with the leading OE manufactures worldwide and it is with great pride that AM Bus and Truck represents these manufactures in Zimbabwe. As a result of these relationships, AM Bus and Truck receives preferential prices from its suppliers which are then inturn passed on to our loyal customers.
AM Bus and Truck continues to grow with the addition of Paul Brien and Bradley Winsor early in 2011. Paul has a wealth of financial sector experience and Bradley brings marketing skills and the two hope to push the company to new heights with the addition of new lines and a wider range of stock. With its successful blend of youth and experience in its management team, AM Bus and Truck looks forward to many more years of servicing the heavy duty spares industry in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
In March 2016 AM Bus & Truck took the giant leap and opened a second branch based in the Msasa Suburb of Harare. This was in the hope of widening its reach and to become more convenient to our customers. As well as placing ourselves in a location that benefits those coming in from areas such as Marondera and Manicaland as a whole.
