Bluecon - Bluecon’s High Quality Dam and Pond Liners

We installed a 110m x 100m liner at a mine recently to be used for water reticulation. This hectare plus project was the biggest of the FIVE dams we have lined for them thus far. A client commissioned us to install a dam liner for a stunning pond that his newly built deck would overlook. The final result was spectacular and it included a series of water channels under the deck that will allow you to see the fish swimming through the wooden slats on the deck. More photos to follow once the landscaping has been completed!

This is the half way mark of our SIXTH water storage dam for a farm growing blueberries in Ruwa. The 83m x 35m 500 micron liner will hold a huge amount of water, enough to meet the very high irrigation needs of the blueberry crop. More photos of the dam once it has been completed and brimming with water.

We were commissioned by a leading NGO to install two dam liners at an Agricultural College near Harare. These two 15m x 10m x 1.5m ponds will be used for Aquaculture classes at the college to help expand fish farming in Zim. Hopefully this project will grow at the college and to other agricultural colleges throughout the country raising awareness of the many benefits of fish farming. We installed a dam liner in Helensvale for a backyard pond. An island in the middle of the dam connected by a bridge created a stunning feature, and a wonderful pond for the ducks and other birds. Water for the dam is being harnessed off the roofs of the house and horse stables, ensuring that no water goes to waste.

We installed a liner in a derelict reservoir at the Eastern Highlands Tea Plantation which forms part of the prestigious international PGI Group. The 20m x 2.5m reservoir was completely dilapidated prior to the lining, after which it worked perfectly at holding water for irrigation.
