The lodge features four bedrooms: two upstairs, which open onto the top deck, and two on the ground floor. The master bedroom upstairs boasts a king-size bed, while the adjacent room contains three three-quarter beds. Downstairs, one bedroom is equipped with a double bed, and the other has three three-quarter beds.

The downstairs area is open-plan, with the lounge leading into the dining area and then into the fully equipped kitchen. With three deep freezers and two upright fridges, all your food and drinks will stay perfectly chilled in Kariba’s warm climate. We also provide an ice maker for your drinks.

In the event of a power cut, the lodge is equipped with a two-plate gas stove, a gas barbecue (braai), and a generator. The generator can be used for a limited time, with additional use available for a fee.

Outside, you’ll find an alfresco dining area and sun loungers overlooking the infinity-edge pool and the lake. As we are located within a national park, you can often see wildlife such as zebra, hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck, elephants, and occasionally buffalo, all from the comfort of the lodge. Lions have even been known to appear on the floodplains from time to time. Guests are reminded to exercise caution and to avoid walking around the complex at night.

For your entertainment, the lodge includes a home theatre system and an OpenView decoder. However, we kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum, respecting both our neighbours and the surrounding wildlife. Failure to adhere to noise restrictions may result in guests being asked to leave the premises.

We also provide a selection of board games, a deck of cards, and a dartboard on the upstairs viewing deck. Additionally, there is a communal area within the Wild Heritage complex where guests can enjoy a larger swimming pool and a barbecue area.

The lodge accommodates a maximum of eight people, including children over the age of two. Guests are reminded to bring their own food, drinks, personal toiletries, and mosquito repellent. While our caretaker is available to assist with any needs, we kindly ask that guests refrain from keeping them up too late.

VICTORIA FALLS from Zimshortstays on WhatsApp. Situated just 3.6kms from the majestic Victoria Falls is a stunning oasis, "Zani".

The self contained unit has 3 well appointed bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bedroom and an en suite bathroom with tub and shower. The bedroom leads to a verandah overlooking the swimming pool which make a good spot for a morning coffee or mimosa 😉.

The second bedroom has twin beds and the third has a queen size bed. Both share a bathroom with a combined shower and loo. All bedrooms are fully air conditioned and have fans as well. Mosquito nets are also available.

The living area is open plan with combined lounge kitchen and dining area. Tucked behind is the scullery with a dish washer and washer dryer combo. There is a guest loo just off the main entrance which keeps the living and sleeping areas separate. The living area is fully air conditioned as well.

We have unlimited WiFi as well as Netflix. You can sign in to your account or use our guest account.

The verandah is separated from the living area by concertina doors that allow for the ultimate indoor outdoor experience. We have a bar table that comfortably accommodates six people as well as an outdoor couch and coffee table.

You can look forward to a cold sundowner by the verandah with our dual bar fridge and wine cooler as well as ice maker. A charcoal braai is available if you feel like having a braai.

For those travelling with infants we have tried to make it a little easier. We have a camp cot with hypoallergenic mattress, waterproof sheets that are 100% cotton and a dome shaped mosquito net. We also have a high chair for meal times.

We have so included a couple of exercise mats, an aerobic step and some dumbells and kettle bells so you can keep up with your exercise routine. · $350.00

The cottage comes with a dedicated cook/housekeeper who will prepare your meals and take care of the cleaning, allowing you to relax completely. The kitchen is fully equipped, offering all the conveniences of home.

In the evenings, you can unwind by the roaring fire, while electric blankets ensure your beds are warm and inviting. The cottage also provides books and games, including darts and cards, for cosy indoor activities.

The home features four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, with a separate bathroom and toilet located just outside. The second bedroom offers twin beds, also with a separate bathroom and toilet nearby. The third bedroom is an upstairs loft space furnished with two Indian day beds, making it a lounge by day and a bedroom by night, with a combined shower and toilet just off the room. The fourth bedroom is a detached suite, only five steps from the main house, with a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom.

In addition to the stream and waterfall, guests can enjoy hiking and on-site volleyball. On rainy days, there’s plenty to do indoors with board games, cards, darts, and a home theatre system with an OpenView decoder.

In the event of a power cut, we have a four-plate gas stove with an oven, as well as a charcoal barbecue (please bring your own charcoal). Solar power provides electricity for lights, fridges, and entertainment, and there is a backup generator available for limited use (extended use is charged at USD 2 per hour). Rechargeable LED lamps are also on hand for extra safety. Our water supply is not dependent on electricity, and two wood-fired boilers ensure you’ll always have hot water for showers.

Please note, the last 3 kilometres of the road leading to the cottage can be rough. During the rainy season, a four-wheel drive vehicle is essential, while outside of the rainy season, a vehicle with high clearance will suffice. Mobile phone reception at the cottage is patchy, but our caretakers can show you the best spots on the property to get a signal. Please be aware that there is no Wi-Fi at the cottage.
