A client brought over some uniforms for her child's name to be embroidered on.

However, I couldn't help but notice how the school logo was presented differently on each of the uniforms.

Truth is, most parents and guardians don't think much into the logo when buying or having the uniforms tailor made. As long as the logo shows some resemblance to or the seller claims it's the original, they're good to go.

Sad to say, a logo has a deeper and precious meaning to it than we give credit to. A logo is synonymous to a person's name. Case in point, if my name is Petronella.... *Petronela, Petronelah, Petronellar, Petronellah or any other variation, though they may bear a very close resemblance to my actual name and are also pronounced the same, are not my names. This applies to every other name under the sun. As an individual I would be very particular in that regard and would feel honored when care is taken to spell my name properly.

The same goes for any school or company logo. The symbols, color and layout of the characters making up the logo carry a significant meaning which we should also thrive to preserve. With the schools opening soon, please bear this in mind when making purchases.

Schools are closing and our (not-so) lovely kids are coming home. We have mixed emotions about their return- we are happy but also dread it. We dread that part of going through their trunks and luggage. We dread that feeling of disappointment when we realize that they lost or had some items stolen from them during the term.

The first week will be spent explaining why they don't have that blazer, shirt, skirt, or jersey. Some are half-truths and others are full-blown lies. Mentally, as parents, we start calculating how much each item costs, and if they know the stress they just triggered when we reluctantly accept that we have to buy the items again.

For $1 per 2 items, we help you save what is left and cut your losses on future purchases. We tag your children's items by neatly embroidering them directly on their garments.
For $1 for 4, we create customized name tags which can later be sewn onto their school uniforms. Make good use of this short vacation
