Wednesday Pause: God’s “New Thing"

1. He’s already at work
“_Now it springs up_.” Not later, not someday. God doesn’t wait for your life to feel ready before He starts rebuilding. Even if you can’t see it yet, the new thing has already begun.

2. It shows up in unlikely places
“_A way in the wilderness... streams in the wasteland_.” God specializes in the spots we’ve written off. Dry seasons, dead ends, and midweek fatigue are exactly where He likes to plant rivers.

3. Perception is part of the promise
“_Do you not perceive it?_” Sometimes the miracle isn’t that God moved, but that He opens our eyes to notice. Ask Him today: What new thing are You doing that I’ve missed?

Prayer for today
Lord, I’ve been staring at the wilderness and calling it my whole story. Help me perceive the new thing You’re already springing up. Make a way where I see walls, and bring Your streams to my dry places. Amen.

*When Night Feels Endless*

“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5

Right now the night might feel heavy. The grief, the waiting, the disappointment - it has a way of stretching time until 3 a.m. feels like forever. David wrote this as someone who knew both deep sorrow and sudden rescue. He wasn’t denying the tears. He was anchoring them to something bigger: NIGHTS DON'T GET THE FINAL WORD OF YOUR LIFE.

God sees this season you’re in. He doesn’t rush you past it, but He also doesn’t leave you stuck in it. The Hebrew word for “stay” there is temporary. It lodges for a night, not forever. MORNING in SCRIPTURE is often GOD’S SIGNATURE MOVE - resurrection, restoration, new perspective breaking through when you thought you were done.

So let the tears come if they need to. But let them fall into hands that are already working while you sleep. What feels like an ending at midnight can look like a setup for mercy by dawn.

You don’t have to manufacture joy today. Just hold onto this: THE STORY ISN’T OVER YET.

Inspiration for today, Wednesday: GOD IS GREATER THAN YOUR STORM...

Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
MARK 4:39...

The middle of the week often feels like the middle of the sea. You’ve already carried Monday’s weight and Tuesday’s demands, and the weekend still looks distant. The winds of deadlines, doubt, or worry start to feel louder than your footing.

"God is greater than your storm" isn’t a promise that the storm disappears instantly.
- It’s a reminder of WHO HOLDS AUTHORITY over it. The same voice that calmed the Galilean waters speaks into the chaos in your mind, your schedule, your relationships.

You don’t have to fight the wind by yourself today. You can speak peace over the thing that’s been tossing you around, even if it’s only in a whisper. One moment of stillness with God steadies the boat more than hours of striving.

So take a breath right now. Whatever is roaring around you isn’t bigger than the One who is with you in the boat.
Let Wednesday be the day you trade panic for presence, and let that quiet confidence carry you through the rest of the week...

Have a blessed Wednesday ~ Rev Rudo...

YOUR SEASON OF BLESSING WILL SURELY COME.....

“I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.”
EZEKIEL 34:26
26..ndichapfunhisa mvura nenguva yayo, mashoko anoropafadza achavapo.

There are seasons in life when everything feels dry and difficult —filled with tears, struggles, and exhaustion.
But just as the rain falls upon the rice fields to bring life and a fruitful harvest, God also sends His blessings at the perfect time.

God never forgets His children. When the right season comes, He will pour out His grace, love, favor, and provision far beyond what we expect.

The sparrows in the rice field remind us that even the smallest creatures are cared for by God.
If God watches over the birds of the air, how much more will He care for us whom He dearly loves?

Never lose hope while waiting. Continue to trust, pray, and remain faithful because your season of blessing will surely come.

May the Lord refresh your heart today and fill your life with peace, joy, and overflowing blessings 🙏🏽

Have a blessed day ~ Rev Rudo

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there today! ❤️

Thank you for the love, sacrifice, patience, and strength you pour out every single day. Whether you’re raising little ones, guiding grown kids, being a mom to others, or holding your family together through prayer and quiet work — you’re seen, you’re valued, and you’re deeply loved.

Here’s a verse to carry with you today:

*“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”* — Proverbs 31:25

May you feel that strength and dignity today, and know that the love you give makes the world steadier and brighter.

Back to SCHOOL HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: "The Bread, The Cup, and The Backpack"

Luke 22:19-20, John 6:35, Matthew 5:16

Theme: Carrying Jesus with you back to school.

Kids, before you go back to school, we don’t just pack your bag with books and pens. Today we pack your heart with something even better — Jesus Himself.

Holy Communion is when we remember that Jesus gave His body, like bread, and His blood, like the cup, so we can always be close to Him. And as you go back to school, you’re not going alone.

1. The Bread = Jesus is your strength

Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry.” John 6:35

Think about it like this: You can’t go to school all day without breakfast. You’ll be tired, you won’t focus, you won’t have energy.

Spiritually, it’s the same. You can’t go through a school term without Jesus. He’s the bread that gives you strength when homework is hard, when you’re bullied, when you feel left out. When you eat the bread today, remember: Jesus is giving you strength for every subject, every test, every friendship.

2. The Cup = Jesus is your forgiveness and new start..

Jesus said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood.” Luke 22:20

A new school term is like a new cup — it’s a fresh start. Maybe last term you made mistakes. Maybe you didn’t do well in a test. Maybe you argued with a friend.

The cup reminds us that Jesus forgives and washes it all clean. When you drink from the cup today, you’re saying: “Lord, I’m starting fresh. I’m not carrying last term’s failures into this term.”

You walk into that classroom with a clean heart and a new chance.

3. The Backpack = You carry Jesus to school

Here’s the secret: After Communion, Jesus goes home with you. Not just in the church, but in your backpack, in your classroom, on the playground.

You’re not just going to school to get good grades. You’re going to school to represent Jesus.

BLESSINGS TO YOU OUR CHILDREN 🙏

ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE DONE TO YOU...

29 Then he touched their eyes saying, "Let it be done for you according to your faith."
*MATTHEW 9:29*
29 Zvino wakabata meso avo akati, muitirwe pamakatenda napo.

There’s a reason this verse hits different…

God didn’t say *“according to your problems.”*
He didn’t say *“according to your past.”*
He said — *according to your faith.*

That means your current situation doesn’t get the final say…
*YOUR FAITH DOES ‼️*

Right now, you might not see a way.
You might feel stuck, tired, or even discouraged.

But heaven isn’t responding to what you see —
*it’s responding to what you believe‼️*

🧎🏽‍♀️Every prayer you whispered…
😭Every tear you cried…
🤔Every moment you chose to trust God anyway…

*None of it was wasted.*

Something is shifting.
Something is aligning.
Something is about to break in your favor.

So hold on a little longer.
*Keep your faith alive — even if it’s small.*

Because Jesus already declared it:
*ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH … IT WILL BE DONE‼️*

*MAERERANO NEPAMAKATENDA NAPO‼️*

If you believe God is working in your life right now, type *“Amen”* 🙏

If you’re choosing faith over fear today, drop a ❤️

*....🖊️Save this post to remind yourself when your faith feels weak*

🥰 *Share this with someone who needs encouragement today.*

*Blessed day according to you faith ~ Rev Rudo...*
