🚨 THIS BOREHOLE WAS ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD… THEN EVERYTHING STARTED GOING WRONG.
📍 MARONDERA RURAL — BOREHOLE REVIVAL
Imagine drilling a brand-new borehole.
For the first 2 months, everything works perfectly.
Then suddenly…
💧 The water starts coming out MILKY WHITE.
Sometimes it clears.
Sometimes it becomes heavily milky again.
Then one day…
⚠️ THE PUMP STOPS WORKING.
Naturally, the first thought is:
“THE PUMP HAS FAILED.”
So the next step should be simple…
👉 Pull the pump out.
👉 Troubleshoot it.
👉 Fix the problem.
BUT THE PUMP WOULDN'T COME OUT.It was STUCK.
And this is where the story gets serious.
Because the pump wasn't the real problem.
THE BOREHOLE ITSELF WAS FAILING.Our investigation revealed that the casings had FOLDED AND BROKEN, leaving the pump trapped inside a damaged borehole
Think about that for a moment…
A borehole only a few months old.
Already showing abnormal water.
Then a pump that can't be retrieved.
And beneath the surface…
BROKEN, FOLDED CASINGS.
🚨 THIS IS WHY A FAILED PUMP CAN SOMETIMES BE ONLY A SYMPTOM OF A MUCH GREATER PROBLEM BELOW.
At this point, replacing the pump was no longer the answer.
THE CASINGS HAD TO COME OUT.
And when we started removing them

Our mandate today begins with PUMP FISH-OUT.
The situation is clear: the pump stopped working, and when efforts were made to remove it, the pump was found stuck inside the borehole.But we are not here simply to retrieve a pump.
💪 WE ARE HERE TO FIND OUT WHY IT GOT STUCK, CORRECT THE PROBLEM AND GIVE THIS BOREHOLE A CHANCE TO WORK AGAIN.

🚨 WHEN THE PUMP WON’T MOVE… THE PROBLEM MAY BE DEEPER THAN THE PUMP.
When a pump refuses to come out, it can be a clear sign that the borehole casing has collapsed, folded, deformed or shifted around it.At that point, forcing the pump out can make an already difficult situation even worse.
Sometimes, there is only one way forward:
🔧 THE PUMP AND THE DAMAGED CASING MUST BOTH COME OUT.
This allows us to access the damaged section, correct the borehole and begin the process of bringing the well back to life.
