Pious Nyenyewa, was recently in Nairobi, Kenya, for the Africa Forward Summit. Came back with a lot to say about the people he met, the conversations he had, and the energy around African creativity, culture, technology, and innovation. Here’s his experience in his own words.

Our Head of Studio, Pious Nyenyewa, had the privilege of attending the Africa Forward Summit on behalf of ALULA. It was a valuable space to be part of, with conversations around innovation, growth, partnerships, and Africa’s role in shaping the future. As a Zimbabwean creative studio working across animation, culture, storytelling, and technology, these are the kinds of conversations we are always glad to contribute to.
A big thank you to Ambassade de France au Zimbabwe for making it possible for us to be involved. We truly appreciate the continued support and the work being done to connect African creativity, innovation, and partnerships in practical ways. We are glad to have been part of this, and we look forward to continuing the conversation.

Hmm… interesting. 👀 We’re in the room for the ZBC Stakeholder Engagement Workshop listening, learning, and plotting great ideas.
Truly grateful to Dairibord for trusting us with this story. It was awesome bringing something this warm and familiar to life, and we’re proud of what we made together and kudos to the crew for pushing.
