The Word of God and the Realities of Life!

đŤśđ˝I donât know who this word is for, but itâs time to RISE.
Cry out to God and ask Him to breathe His Spirit into you again. You have been still for too long. Ask Him to awaken what went quiet; your creativity, your purpose, your joy, your love, your health, and your sound mind.
You have rested long enough in depression.
Long enough in anxiety.
Long enough in overthinking, bitterness, loneliness, grief, brokenness, financial pressure, abandonment wounds, relationship pain, and destructive cycles.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
RISE đŁď¸
Rise for the person you are becoming.
Rise for your children.
Rise for the dreams God planted in you before the pain ever came.
Stand up. Shake it off. Take your life back. đŤśđ˝

Iâve been reflecting on Kenyaâs decision to allow women time off during menstruation, and a small encounter I had recently brought the issue close to my heart.
I was at Creamy Inn getting ice cream when the young lady serving me forgot to give me my change. She handed me my order, then quietly stepped aside to speak to a woman next to her, likely her supervisor. She politely asked to be excused for a few minutes so she could go to a nearby pharmacy to buy pills. Another attendant came forward, and I heard her explain that she was experiencing period pain.
When I later asked the supervisor for my change, I gently mentioned that the young woman didnât seem to be feeling well. The response was a smile and the words, âShe has a headache.â
That moment stayed with me.
Here was a capable young woman serving through pain, yet the truth had to be softened. Not because the pain wasnât real, but because honesty about womenâs bodies is still uncomfortable in many spaces.
Faith teaches us that God cares about the whole person; body, soul, and spirit. We are instructed to love our neighbour, to carry one anotherâs burdens, and to show mercy rather than demand performance at all costs. Strength, in Godâs eyes, is not proven by silent suffering.
There is at least one day in many womenâs cycles when pain is heavy and concentration is difficult. Acknowledging this reality is not asking for favour; it is asking for compassion. Even Jesus paused to rest when His body was weary, and He never measured worth by endurance alone.
At the same time, wisdom is necessary. Support must not become a reason to sideline women or question their calling and capability. Godâs design of difference was never meant to produce disadvantage.
My prayer is for workplaces and communities shaped by truth and grace; where women do not have to rename pain to be accepted, and where care is not mistaken for weakness.
And yes⌠ice cream lifts the spirit, but it does not heal cramps. đ

Title: The Deadly Trap of Offense
Offense is a quiet trap that can destroy our lives without us noticing. It often starts small...someone says something that hurts, does something wrong, or even when someone doesnât do what they promised. At first, it feels small, but if we hold on to it, it grows into bitterness, anger, and resentment.
Offense can hurt even more when it comes from the people we love. The more we love someone, the deeper their words or actions can wound us. It could be a husband, a close friend, or a family member.
Offense will come as long as there are people we love, trust, or depend on. It can ruin friendships, marriages, and even our connection with God. Sometimes, we donât realize that it is the reason our prayers feel heavy, our hearts feel cold, or why we struggle to enjoy life.
The devil loves offense because it makes us focus on the hurt instead of God. It separates us from the people we love and blocks the blessings God wants for us. As the days progress, we are going to look more at what offense is, why it is dangerous, and how we can get rid of it completely.
Matthew 18:7 â "Woe to the world because of offenses! Offenses will happen, but it will be bad for the person that causes the offense."
Proverbs 19:11 â "It is good to be patient and forgive. It is wise not to get angry quickly."
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IN A SEASON OF WAITING
4ď¸âŁ Do Not Grow Weary â Do Everything As Unto the LORD
Galatians 6:9 says, âDo not be tired of doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up.â
Some of us ask GOD for a new job, but while waiting, we become lazy at the current one. We come late, we gossip about the boss, we do half the work because âthis company doesnât pay me enough anyway.â But remember, GOD sees your heart. He knows your boss is unfair, He knows your situation, but He wants to see if you will stay faithful while you wait for promotion.
Joseph served faithfully even in prison. David served Saul with respect, even when Saul was evil to him. Daniel served under kings who didnât love GOD, but he worked well as unto the LORD.
Do your work with excellence, even if your boss is bad. Do that small business faithfully, even if profit is low. GOD is watching how you handle the small things while you wait for the bigger ones.
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IN A SEASON OF WAITING.
3ď¸âŁ Guard Your Mouth
Many times we kill our own prayers with our mouths. Israel in the wilderness kept complaining âwe should have died in Egypt⌠we are tired⌠Moses brought us here to suffer.â Because of that, they never entered the promised land. Their own words cancelled their promise.
Today, some of us say, âI will never get married,â âI will die poor,â âmy children are useless.â Those words destroy your faith and invite the devil to agree with you.
You pray for a new job but keep saying, âThere are no jobs in this country, itâs hopeless.â You pray for healing but say, âI know I will die from this.â You cannot pray life and speak death.
Proverbs 18:21 says, âDeath and life are in the power of the tongue.â Speak what you believe, not what you see. Speak hope even when things look dry. Speak what GOD says about you.
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IN A SEASON OF WAITING
2ď¸âŁRemain Righteous
Psalm 37:34 says, âWait for the LORD and keep HIS way.â Some of us lose our righteousness for just a moment of relief.
Think of a young girl waiting for marriage. She keeps herself pure but then feels like she will lose her boyfriend, so she sleeps with him to keep him. She thinks maybe this boyfriend is the promise from GOD â but she forgets that GOD will never ask you to sin to keep His blessing.
Some people do unthinkable things for a promotion because they are tired of waiting for GOD to lift them. Some sell their bodies for one night of money to fix a problem quickly, forgetting that GOD sees, and He wants to provide for them the right way.
Others do small corrupt things, like lying on documents, cheating people, just to make quick money because they think GOD is too slow. But that âquick helpâ brings more trouble and delays GODâs true blessing.
Look at Esau. He was hungry for just one meal...so he sold his birthright. Just one moment of weakness made him lose something big forever.
Let us be careful, one night of âreliefâ must not cost you your whole testimony. GOD knows you need relief too â but He wants to give it in the right way, the clean way.
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IN A SEASON OF WAITING
1ď¸âŁ Remain Prayerful
Luke 18:1 says we must always pray and not give up. When you stop praying, your faith grows weak. Prayer keeps your hope alive.
Look at Hannah â she kept praying for a child even when people laughed at her. She did not go around gossiping about her husbandâs other wife. She took her tears to GOD, not to the streets.
In our own lives, some people lose the promise because they stop praying. You pray for a thing, but when it delays, you stop praying and start complaining â âmaybe GOD forgot me.â Some mothers stop praying for a child who is on drugs â they give up and say, âhe will never change.â Some people pray for a job but when months pass, they stop praying and just sit hopeless.
Keep praying. Pray when you feel strong. Pray when you feel weak. GOD hears every word, even when it takes time.
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IN A SEASON OF WAITING
God wants us to look at how we behave while we wait for Him to answer our prayers. Many of us pray for things â a new job, a husband, a child, healing, help for our families. But sometimes, while we wait, we do things that push the promise away instead of drawing it closer.
Have you seen how a child acts when a parent promises them a gift? The child tries so hard to be on good behaviour because they donât want the parent to change their mind. They help with chores, they say âyes, Mamaâ, they listen quickly â because they want to keep the parent happy until the promise comes. This is how we should be with GOD. He is faithful â but how we behave matters while we wait for what He has promised.
Stay Inside The Fence
..4) Stay Inside â Even When It Feels Hard
If the Bible or your pastor says, âDonât go there,â donât say he is old-fashioned. He sees what you canât see.
If your parents say, âDonât hang out with that person,â listen.
If the Bible says, âFlee sexual immorality,â flee.
It is not to kill your fun. It is to save your future.
Stay Inside The Fence
....2. The Devil is Patiently Waiting
The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8:
âBe alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.â
The devil doesnât come when you are strong in prayer, when you are inside Godâs fence. He waits for you to open the gate yourself. He waits for you to say, âLet me just drink a little. Let me just text that old lover. Let me visit the witchdoctor just once. It's just one......Whatâs the harm?â
The harm is bigger than the pleasure. One mistake can open doors you never planned for.
Look at David, a man after Godâs own heart. He was a mighty king, a worshipper, chosen by God. But one day, when he was supposed to be guarding his heart and kingdom, he saw Bathsheba bathing. Instead of turning away, he gave in to temptation. That one glance led to adultery, deceit, and even murder. Davidâs failure was not because the devil surprised him, but because he opened the door by stepping away from Godâs protection.
And Samson; a man set apart by God with great strength. He was supposed to keep himself pure, but he loved the wrong women and broke his vows. The enemy patiently waited until Samson let his guard down. When he revealed the secret of his strength to Delilah, the devil pounced, and Samson lost everything.
Both men were strong, both had great potential, but the devil was patient. He waited for them to let their guard down, and the cost was heavy.
