Hi there!

Today we give you the completed concept for the new Nail Addikt Eastpark outlet in Lusaka, Zambia.

Our intention was to create a sort of “escape” from the everyday city life, and so we did that. We took the ideas from the mood board and tried to incorporate them into the design without cramping up the space too much.

This was a fun project, and we look forward to even more exciting projects in the future.

As promised here it is!

We were commissioned to work on exciting project in Lusaka, Zambia. Nail Addikt is a high end nail bar owned by a phenomenal Zimbabwean business woman, who’s attention to detail and dedication to offering nothing but the best inspired us to really go all out in this concept so as to give our client nothing but the best.

The concept is centered around Mediterranean style which is characterized by simple, earth toned and romantic aesthetics of Northern African and Southern European countries.

With every design project we draw up a concept board/ mood board so as to guide the design project. It allows us as the designers to ensure that we’ve captured the client’s vision before the commencement of the actual design process. I guess you could say we try to give our clients a view of the promised land before we embark on the actual journey.

With this specific project, we tried to incorporate a lot of light and warm tones into the color scheme, as well as the extensive use of natural materials such as ceramics, wood, reeds and dry plants for low maintenance.

We went for boldness, simplicity, convenience, as well as practicality!
