The Bible: God’s Voice to the Soul

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105

We live in a time when countless voices are competing for our attention. Human opinions, social media, traditions, popular preachers, culture, and even our own feelings continually seek to influence what we believe and how we live. Yet amid all these voices, God has given us a sure and unchanging guide: His Word.

The Bible is not merely a religious book containing ancient history and beautiful sayings. It is the revelation of God to humanity. Through its pages we learn who God is, understand the great controversy between Christ and Satan, discover the plan of salvation, recognize sin, behold Christ, and learn how to prepare for eternity.

Jesus declared:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4

Physical food sustains the body, but the Word of God sustains spiritual life. We would never expect our bodies to remain strong while refusing food for days or weeks. Yet it is possible to attempt to live the Christian life while feeding the soul only occasionally. A neglected Bible eventually produces a spiritually weakened Christian.

Ellen White gives us a striking picture of what opening the Scriptures should mean:

“The Bible is God’s voice speaking to us, just as surely as though we could hear it with our ears.” - Testimonies for the Church, vol. 6, p. 393.

Think about that statement. When we prayerfully open the Bible, we are coming to hear God speak.

If we truly believed this, our attitude toward Bible study would change. We would not approach Scripture casually. We would open it prayerfully, reverently, and expectantly, asking, Lord, what are You saying to me today? What must change in my life? What truth must I believe? What command must I obey?

The Word Reveals Our True Condition

The Bible does more than comfort us. It examines us.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword… and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” — Hebrews 4:12

God’s Word exposes motives that we might otherwise excuse. It identifies cherished sins, corrects false ideas, reveals defects of character, and calls us into conformity with Christ.

This is why Scripture must not merely be read. It must be obeyed.

James tells us:

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” — James 1:22

The purpose of Bible study is not simply to accumulate information. Truth must enter the heart and transform the life. If our study of prophecy, doctrine, health reform, Sabbath truth, righteousness by faith, or the sanctuary does not produce greater humility, obedience, purity, and Christlikeness, then knowledge has not accomplished God’s intended purpose.

The Word Is Our Defense Against Satan

When Christ was tempted in the wilderness, He met Satan repeatedly with the words, “It is written.”

He did not enter into philosophical debate with the enemy. He stood upon the written Word.

“When Satan presses his suggestions upon our minds, we may, if we cherish a ‘Thus saith the Lord,’ be drawn into the secret pavilion of the Most High.” - Testimonies for the Church, vol. 6, p. 393.

This is especially important as we approach the closing scenes of earth’s history. God’s people must know what God has said for themselves. Our faith cannot rest upon what a pastor says, what an elder says, what our church tradition says, or even what our parents believed.

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” — Isaiah 8:20

Every teaching, every impression, every sermon, and every claimed revelation must be tested by the Word of God.

We Must Eat the Word for Ourselves

There is a danger in depending upon others to study for us. Sermons, devotionals, Bible lessons, and Spirit of Prophecy writings can help direct our minds toward truth, but none can replace personal communion with God through Scripture.

“The question is asked: What is the cause of the dearth in the church? The answer is: We allow our minds to be drawn away from the word.” - Testimonies for the Church, vol. 6, p. 392.

This deserves serious reflection. Sometimes we seek complicated explanations for spiritual weakness when the problem may be very simple: we are not feeding upon the Word.

David understood this principle:

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” — Psalm 119:11

The Word hidden in the heart becomes a defense when temptation comes. It guides decisions, corrects our thinking, strengthens faith, and brings the mind back to God.

The Bible Leads Us to Christ

Ultimately, the great purpose of Scripture is to reveal Jesus Christ.

Jesus said:

“Search the scriptures… they are they which testify of me.” — John 5:39

From Genesis to Revelation, Christ is the center. He is the promised Seed, the Lamb of God, our High Priest, our righteousness, our Advocate, our coming King, and the One through whom eternal life is offered.

Therefore Bible study should never become merely an intellectual exercise. We study because we want to know Christ, hear His voice, understand His will, and become like Him.

Dear brothers and sisters, let us return to the Bible.

Before reaching for the phone in the morning, reach for the Word. Before accepting what someone says about God, search the Word. When confused, search the Word. When tempted, remember the Word. When discouraged, claim the promises of the Word. When making important decisions, seek counsel from the Word.

And when you open your Bible, remember:

The Creator of heaven and earth desires to speak to you.

Let us therefore pray with the Psalmist:

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” — Psalm 119:18

May the Lord give us a hunger for His Word, not merely that we may know more truth, but that through the sanctifying power of truth our lives may be prepared for His kingdom.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” — John 17:17

A Bible that remains closed cannot guide our footsteps. But the Word received, believed, and obeyed becomes a lamp to our feet, strength against temptation, food for the soul, and a pathway leading us to Christ.

Remain faithful, Jesus is coming soon!

Overcoming in Little Things: Preparation for the Final Crisis

“Those who do not overcome in little things will have no moral power to withstand greater temptations. - Testimonies for the Church, No. 30, p. 75.

Many professed Christians believe they will stand firm when the final crisis arrives. They are confident that when the mark of the beast is enforced, they will courageously choose God’s side. Yet inspiration teaches a different lesson. Those who fail in the ordinary tests of life today will not suddenly develop courage and faithfulness in the hour of the greatest trial.

God prepares His people through daily obedience. Character is not formed during the crisis. It is revealed by the crisis.

Jesus said:

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.” - Luke 16:10

Every act of obedience strengthens the character. Every compromise weakens it. The battle over seemingly small matters is actually preparation for the greatest conflict the world has ever seen.

The Sabbath Today Reveals the Sabbath Tomorrow

One of the clearest examples is Sabbath keeping.

Today, many who know the truth casually neglect the Sabbath for work, business, recreation, convenience, family events, travel, or simple indifference. No government threatens them. No law compels them to violate God’s commandment. The pressure comes only from self and circumstances.

If a person cannot remain faithful to God’s Sabbath when there is no persecution, how will they remain faithful when obedience may cost employment, property, imprisonment, or even life?

The final Sabbath test will not create faithfulness. It will reveal whether faithfulness already exists.

Running with the Footmen

The prophet Jeremiah asked a searching question:

“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?” - Jeremiah 12:5

The “footmen” represent the smaller trials of everyday life. They include overcoming appetite, controlling the tongue, maintaining private prayer, honesty in business, purity in thought, faithfulness in worship, and keeping the Sabbath holy.

The “horsemen” represent the far greater trials that will come upon God’s people during the closing scenes of earth’s history.

If the smaller tests discourage us now, how shall we endure when the greatest conflict arrives?

The Final Crisis Is Won Before It Begins

David defeated Goliath because he had already learned faithfulness while tending sheep.

Joseph remained pure because he had practiced obedience long before Potiphar’s wife tempted him.

Daniel stood before kings because he had first purposed in his heart not to compromise with food and drink.

Likewise, God’s last day people will stand because they have learned to surrender every day.

“The character is revealed, not by occasional good deeds and occasional misdeeds, but by the tendency of the habitual words and acts.” - Steps to Christ, p. 57.

The issue has never been merely the Sabbath, diet, dress, entertainment, speech, or prayer. The issue is whether the heart has learned complete submission to God.

Little Things Reveal Great Principles

Many say, “It is only one Sabbath.”

“It is only one compromise.”

“It is only one dishonest transaction.”

“It is only one neglected devotion.”

But heaven sees something deeper. Every small decision is either strengthening the power of obedience or strengthening the habit of compromise.

Satan understands this. That is why he seeks to defeat God’s people through little concessions rather than dramatic apostasies.

A People Prepared to Stand

Before probation closes, God will have a people who have learned to trust Him in every detail of life.

They keep His commandments because they love Him.

They obey when no one is watching.

They remain faithful without external pressure.

Therefore, when the world’s greatest pressure is applied, they simply continue living the life they have already chosen.

The final test will not produce saints. It will reveal saints.

Reflection Prayer:

Father in heaven, teach me to be faithful in the little things. Deliver me from the spirit of compromise. Help me to honor Your Sabbath, obey Your commandments, and surrender every area of my life to You while there is still peace. Prepare my character now, that when the horsemen come, I may stand through the righteousness of Christ alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏🏾

The blessing of manual labor is a theme that runs throughout both Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy. God never intended His people to live lives of idleness. Work was given before sin entered the world and remains one of Heaven’s appointed means of developing character, preserving health, and teaching dependence upon God.

Manual Labor in Scripture

1. Work was given before the Fall

Before sin entered the world, Adam was given meaningful work.

“And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” (Genesis 2:15)

Labor is not a curse. The curse affected labor, but work itself was part of God’s perfect plan.

2. Jesus Worked with His Hands

Christ spent most of His earthly life as a carpenter.

“Is not this the carpenter?” (Mark 6:3)

The Creator of the universe honored manual labor by engaging in it Himself.

3. Paul Worked to Support Himself

“Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities.” (Acts 20:34)

“If any would not work, neither should he eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

Paul taught that productive labor is part of Christian responsibility.

4. Honest Labor Brings Satisfaction

“The labour of the righteous tendeth to life.” (Proverbs 10:16)

“Every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 3:13)

Spirit of Prophecy on Manual Labor

Ellen White repeatedly taught that manual labor is essential in true education, health reform, and preparation for service.

1. Labor Develops Character

“The exercise of the muscles as well as the brain will encourage growth and promote health.” (Counsels to Parents, Teachers, and Students, p. 307)

Physical work cultivates perseverance, diligence, humility, and self discipline.

2. Manual Labor is Part of True Education

“In God’s plan for Israel every family had a home on the land, with sufficient ground for tilling. Thus were provided both the means and the incentive for a useful, industrious, and self-supporting life.” (Education, p. 43)

True education combines mental, spiritual, and physical labor.

3. Christ’s Example Shows the Dignity of Labor

“Jesus lived in a peasant’s home, and faithfully and cheerfully acted His part in bearing the burdens of the household.” (The Desire of Ages, p. 72)

No work that is honest and useful is beneath the dignity of a Christian.

4. Labor is a Safeguard Against Temptation

“One of the surest safeguards against evil is useful occupation.” (Education, p. 214)

Many temptations find fertile ground in idle minds and idle hands.

5. Agriculture Has Special Value

“The tilling of the soil is one of the best kinds of employment, calling the muscles into action and resting the mind.” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 265)

This is especially relevant for outpost work and country living, where agriculture becomes both practical training and missionary preparation.

Lessons for God’s Remnant People

As we approach the close of probation and the final crisis, God’s people should not despise manual labor. The worker in the field, the gardener, the builder, the carpenter, and the farmer are just as valuable in God’s work as the preacher and teacher.

Manual labor:

* Preserves physical health.
* Develops Christlike character.
* Teaches self reliance under God.
* Helps prepare people for country living.
* Reduces dependence on worldly systems.
* Provides opportunities for ministry.
* Guards against idleness and temptation.

The school of Christ teaches us that there is honor in useful labor. Heaven’s King spent His youth working with His hands. Those who follow Him should never regard manual labor as inferior, but rather as one of God’s appointed agencies for developing a people prepared for His kingdom. As Solomon declared:

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.” (Ecclesiastes 9:10)

OUR GOSPEL MEDICAL MISSIONARY STUDENTS IN CLASS

There is a great need today for young people and adults who are willing to dedicate their lives fully to God’s service through practical missionary training.

Our Gospel Medical Missionary Training School is more than just a classroom experience. It is a practical preparation for finishing God’s work in these last days through the blueprint of true education. Students are trained not only in Bible prophecy and spiritual life, but also in practical missionary skills that prepare them to serve communities physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Our training is unique because it follows the counsel God has given regarding true education. We combine Bible study, health reform, agriculture, practical labor, evangelism, missionary outreach, character development, and self-supporting principles. Students learn by both study and active service.

This work is not simply about gaining information. It is about preparing laborers who can go into the highways and byways to minister as Christ ministered.

We encourage those who feel burdened for mission work, health ministry, Bible work, evangelism, and country living to prayerfully consider becoming part of this training. The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few.

May God continue raising faithful workers to help finish the work.

Ever Learning, Yet Never Transformed

“Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” — 2 Timothy 3:7

Many professed Christians today are surrounded by truth. They attend church services every sabbath, participate in Bible studies, listen to prophecy presentations, read Spirit of Prophecy books, and can explain many doctrines. Yet despite all this exposure, their lives remain unchanged. Years pass, but there is no deeper surrender, no victory over sin, no true reformation of character, and no evidence of spiritual growth.

Paul warned of people who are “ever learning” but never truly come to the knowledge of the truth. This does not mean they lack information. Rather, truth never takes possession of the heart. The mind may be educated while the soul remains unconverted.

There is a dangerous form of religion that is satisfied with hearing truth while resisting obedience to it. Such individuals become spiritually stagnant. They hear appeals about health reform, dress reform, revival, prayer, humility, victory over appetite, and separation from the world, yet remain unchanged year after year. Their Christianity becomes theoretical rather than practical.

Christ said:

“Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” — Luke 6:46

Truth was never meant merely to inform the intellect. Truth is meant to sanctify the life.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32

When truth is truly received, it produces fruit. A converted Christian does not remain the same. The speech changes. The appetite changes. The entertainment changes. The dress changes. The attitudes change. Relationships change. Priorities change. There is increasing hatred for sin and growing love for righteousness.

Many deceive themselves because they mistake activity for spirituality. They may hold church office, preach sermons, sing in choirs, or attend zundes, yet still possess unsubdued hearts. Judas walked with Christ for three and a half years and still remained unchanged because he never surrendered fully.

The absence of the fruit of the Spirit reveals the true condition of the soul.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…” — Galatians 5:22-23

Where there is constant pride, bitterness, anger, worldliness, jealousy, immorality, impatience, appetite indulgence, gossip, and spiritual laziness, the Spirit of God is not ruling fully in the life, regardless of how much truth one professes to know.

The greatest danger to the Laodicean church is not open rebellion, but spiritual complacency. To think we are rich in truth while lacking genuine conversion is a fearful deception.

“Those who are sanctified through the truth are living recommendations of its power, and representatives of their risen Lord. The religion of Christ will refine the taste, sanctify the judgment, elevate, purify, and ennoble the soul, making the Christian more and more fit for the society of the heavenly angels.” - That I May Know Him, 250.

“The Christian life is constantly an onward march. Jesus sits as a refiner and purifier of His people; and when His image is perfectly reflected in them, they are perfect and holy, and prepared for translation. - Testimonies for the Church, Vol 1:338.

God is not looking merely for hearers of sermons, but for transformed men and women whose lives reveal Christ. The final generation will not simply understand prophecy intellectually. They will reflect the character of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The question is not how much truth we know, but how much truth has changed us.

After years in the church, are we more humble? More prayerful? More self denying? More loving? More obedient? More separated from the world? More like Christ?

Or are we still spiritually immature, easily offended, resisting counsel, clinging to cherished sins, and content with outward religion?

The time has come to move beyond merely hearing truth into living truth. Heaven is waiting for a people who will not only study the Word, but obey it fully.

Lord, forgive us for the times we have heard truth but failed to allow it to transform our hearts. Remove spiritual complacency from our lives. Give us genuine conversion, true repentance, and the fruits of the Spirit. Help us not merely to profess Christianity, but to reflect the character of Christ daily. Sanctify us through Thy truth, and prepare us to stand faithful in these last days. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

FLEE FROM TEMPTATION

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” — 1 Corinthians 10:13

Temptation is something every Christian faces. Satan continually places traps before God’s people through appetite, worldly entertainment, immoral relationships, pride, social media, lust, and sinful habits. Yet the Bible teaches that temptation itself is not sin. Even Christ was tempted.

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” — Hebrews 4:15

Jesus experienced temptation, but He never yielded. Sin begins when temptation is entertained, cherished, and acted upon. Through Christ, we can resist and overcome.

Joseph is one of the clearest biblical examples of fleeing from temptation. While serving in Potiphar’s house, Joseph was continually pressured by Potiphar’s wife to commit sin. Joseph recognized that yielding would not merely be a mistake against man, but a sin against God Himself.

“How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9

Joseph did not stay near the temptation trying to prove his strength. He removed himself from the situation.

“And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.” — Genesis 39:12

This is a lesson many fail to understand today. We cannot pray for victory while continually placing ourselves where temptation is strongest. If alcohol is your weakness, you should not remain among drinking companions or in environments centered around alcohol. If immoral entertainment weakens your mind, continual exposure will make spiritual victory difficult. If social media is consuming your spiritual life, repeatedly feeding that appetite while praying for freedom only strengthens the struggle.

The safest course is to flee from the source of temptation.

"Yet we have a work to do to resist temptation. Those who would not fall a prey to Satan's devices must guard well the avenues of the soul; they must avoid reading, seeing, or hearing that which will suggest impure thoughts. The mind should not be left to wander at random upon every subject that the adversary of souls may suggest. “Gird up the loins of your mind,” says the apostle Peter, “be sober, ... not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of living.” Says Paul, - Patriarchs and Prophets, 460." (MYP 285.2).

The devil’s strategy in these last days is subtle compromise. Sin is presented as harmless, fashionable, entertaining, or normal. Little by little, spiritual sensitivity is weakened. But God has not left His people helpless.

Victory comes through surrendering daily to Christ. We overcome through prayer, the Word of God, and deliberate separation from known avenues of temptation.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7

In these closing scenes of earth’s history, God is calling His people to stop lingering near sin. Joseph fled. Daniel purposed in his heart. Christ answered temptation with Scripture. We too must choose to flee from temptation and cling to Christ.

God always provides a way of escape. Through the indwelling power of Jesus, we do not need to be overcome by temptation. We may overcome through Him.

"Watch and pray, lest ye enter into temptation" is the necessary injunction for everyone who wishes to remain secure (Matthew 26:41)

Remain faithful, Jesus is coming soon!

LOVE COVERS ALL THINGS

Love is the fulfilling of the law and the ultimate attribute of God, encompassing His entire character and governing every righteous action (Romans 13:8). God is Love: Love is not just one of God's qualities; every one of His attributes is an attribute of love.

Love reveals the character of Christ working in the believer.

What does it mean?

1. Love does not expose to destroy, but seeks to restore.
Christ did not come to shame sinners, but to save them. When love covers, it does not gossip, it does not broadcast faults, it works quietly to redeem.

2. Love forgives deeply
Not a surface forgiveness, but one that releases bitterness. As Christ forgives us, so we forgive others, even when wounded.

3. Love bears with weakness
We are all in a process of sanctification. Love is patient with the faults of others while still upholding righteousness.

4. Love protects relationships
Instead of tearing down, love guards unity in the body of Christ, especially in these last days when strife is increasing.

5. Love reflects the final generation character
In the closing work, God is preparing a people who reveal His character fully. That character is truth and love united, not harshness, not compromise.

This kind of love is not natural. It is the fruit of the indwelling Christ. As we receive His Spirit, we will learn to cover as He covers us.

“Above all things” this love must be cultivated, because it is the very atmosphere of heaven. All the law and the prophets hang on the two great commandments: supreme love for God and impartial love for our neighbors (Matthew 22:40). True love is more than a feeling; it is a controlling principle of life that humbles the heart and awakens a deep, earnest concern for others. By abiding in this love, we are transformed into the divine likeness (Jude 20-21).

The Science of All Sciences: What is True Education

A Lesson for the Little Ones: The Two Trees

Long ago, in a beautiful garden called Eden, there were two special tree. One was the Tree of Life, which represented the Word of God and gave life to everyone who ate it. The other was the Tree of Knowledge, which Satan used to trick Adam and Eve into thinking they could be as wise as God without obeying Him. Today, true education is like choosing the Tree of Life

It means listening to Jesus, our Great Teacher, and learning to be kind, clean, and helpful at home, just as the boy Jesus was in His home in Nazareth. When we choose to obey God's Word, we are building a character that will last forever, even in the city of God

The Divine Foundation

True education is not merely a course of study to gain worldly greatness, but it is the "science of all true science" where the human will is blended with the divine will. The Word of God must be the foundation of all true knowledge, serving as the guide and counselor in the training of our youth
The Source of Wisdom: All true knowledge and real development have their source in a knowledge of God

The Starting Point: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and this "ABC" of education must be the basis for every teacher and student (Proverbs 9:10)

The Mental Power: As a means of intellectual training, the Bible is more effective than all other books combined, for it brings the finite mind into contact with the thoughts of the Infinite

Character Building: The Work of a Lifetime

The most important work ever entrusted to human beings is character building. True education is a missionary training that fits us for service to God and our fellow men

Material for the Structure: In our daily lives, we are building a character, and we must be careful to use only "first quality" timber—material that is of a divine order

The Pattern: Our character building must be modeled after the pattern revealed in the life of Christ

The Testing Time: In times of perplexity and distress, it will be plainly seen what kind of timbers we have used in our character building
The Goal: The purpose of this education is to restore the image of God in the soul, mind, and body
True Science vs. Human Theories 🔬

There is a harmony between all true science and the Written Word, for God is the foundation of everything

Harmony of Truth: True science brings nothing from its research that conflicts with divine revelation

The Farce of Worldly Wisdom: The "higher education" of the world has often proved a farce because it exalts human reasoning above the "Thus saith the Lord"

Satanic Sophistry: False science is pretentious ignorance and a deceptive power that leads minds into the meshes of unbelief

The Science of Salvation: The only science that will endure through eternal ages is the science of true godliness and the knowledge of Jesus Christ (John 17:3)

The Practical Curriculum of Heaven

True education is symmetrical; it involves the physical, mental, and spiritual powers

Manual Training: Industrial training and manual labor are deserving of far more attention, as they provide for physical development and a sense of responsibility

The Laws of Life: Physiology and a knowledge of the laws of health are essential parts of education, for we are God's property by creation and redemption

Simplicity in Healing: True science includes learning how to preserve health through nature's remedies—water, sunshine, and physical exercise

Home Duties: Faithfulness in the "least" duties of the home, such as keeping a room spotless, is a form of missionary work that bears witness for Christ (Luke 16:10)

The Appeal: What Will You Choose?

We are living in the closing scenes of this world's history, and the Word of God will judge every one of us at the last great day
➡️Have you been putting the very best material into your character building?
➡️Are you willing to separate yourself from scientific scheming and human inventions to follow the plain Path of Life?

Heaven is looking upon us to see if we will choose the education that is as lasting as eternity

If you have neglected the "ABC" of true education, commence to study now. Yield your heart to the Great Teacher today, for without Him you can do nothing (John 12:32)
➡️Will you decide now to make the Bible the man of your counsel and to stand firmly on the platform of eternal truth?
The gates of the City of God are open to those who have been educated to fear God and keep His commandments
➡️What are you going to do Acts 16:31?
