Red Card to Child Labour
Every child deserves the chance to learn, play, and grow in safety. Child labour robs children of education, health, and their future.

According to our Zimbabwean Constitution, anyone under the age of 18 is a child with the right to protection, education, and a childhood free from exploitation. Guided by safeguarding and child protection policies, we stand firm: Dabane does not support any form of child labour.

Together, let us protect children, promote education, and build stronger communities.
END CHILD LABOUR. PROTECT CHILDHOOD. BUILD THE FUTURE.

🌍 World Environment Day 2026 🌍

Our strategy in environmental conservation is rooted in practical, community-driven solutions. We champion afforestation and the construction of conservation structures such as half-moons, stone gabions, stone bunds, vegetative barriers, and silt traps, among others.

These efforts restore degraded land, secure water, and empower communities to thrive in the face of climate challenges.

💧 Water harvested.
🌱 Forests renewed.
🛡️ Landscapes protected.
👩‍🌾 Communities resilient.

Together, we are building a greener, stronger future.

From 5–7 May 2026, we hosted an Inaugural Small Livestock Management Seminar for farmers across Matobo, Gwanda, and Bulilima Districts. This groundbreaking seminar opened doors for farmers to explore entrepreneurial opportunities through small livestock such as goats, poultry, rabbits, guinea fowls, and ducks, and even consider adding value to grow their projects bigger. With insights from seasoned professional speakers, participants gained both expert knowledge and practical experience to inspire life-changing ventures. The energy was unmatched, and the motivation was real, farmers left ready to start something transformative for their families and communities. Resilience is key to unlocking better livelihoods.

These joyous smiles are proof that the underground surface runoff water harvesting tanks constructed under the BROT pilot project have brought impact when it comes to access to water for productive use at the household level. We have learned, documented, and now look forward to scaling these lessons into bigger projects ahead…

From 7th to 9th April 2026, we had the honour of hosting one of our valued donors, Action for World Solidarity (ASW), for an office visit. As part of the program, farmers and field monitors from Matobo District joined us to share firsthand experiences and provide our guests with a primary overview of the ongoing work on the ground. Their voices highlighted the impact of sustainable water solutions and community-driven initiatives in building resilience. We are deeply grateful for ASW’s continued support and for the dedication of our communities, who make these projects thrive. Together, we echo the spirit of solidarity and progress.
