First victory!
Gift Puteho claimed the win in the senior category (and 27th in the overall including men elite) after three hours of racing the technical Cradle trails. Richard (first international racing experience) and Mathews were leading and dominating the A-batch but ended up being disqualified. Both riders missed a sign and took a slightly shorter route, this was not intentional. Bad luck hit Enerst who had two flat tires. But this is what our team captain had to say after the race :
''I realize that coming again and again to South Africa gives the team a lot of confidence. We are more comfortable now and can measure our progress against others and also the way to go to the top''
We'll be back for more!
The start was given at 7.15AM in cold but dry weather conditions. A-batch start for us and good to see Richard on the front row in his first international race. Fingers crossed!

What a wild ride.
It’s hard to believe, that after months of training and prep, weeks of travel, packing, plans, itineraries, 4AM wake ups; heavy legs and painful knees; cold, wet, heat, sun; hype, excitement, and nerves racing against the best riders in the world…
It’s all over.
The teams came in:
TEAM 2- 16thkawemba.3
TEAM 1- 30th
We can’t believe we’ve made it this far… the last Stage of the ABSA Cape Epic! For Newbies like us, just surviving to the end of the week was the biggest goal. But not only have we survived, but the team has THRIVED and been in the top of the field every single day.
No matter how what happens on the trails today, we can all be proud of how well our men have done. Thank you again to .southafrica for letting our guys represent for 2026– we wouldn’t have made it this far without you.

Our Kansanshi Cycling Team has once again shown their strength and determination at the National Road Series Race in Livingstone! Davis Kawemba (Pitbull) clinched the top spot in the 140km race, with Levy Pyele securing an impressive third place after a fierce sprint to the finish line. Congratulations to both for their outstanding performance!
A big shout-out to the entire team for their exceptional teamwork and strategic attack in the final kilometers, which paved the way for this victory. Special mention goes to our juniors, Emmanuel Kanguya and Gift Kasito, who battled alongside the team and played a crucial role in the race.
In the women's category, Luwi Chikomba took home first place, with Cynthia Shika following closely in second. Well done to our talented ladies for their fantastic achievements!
