CHAVUMA PEOPLE MUST COME FIRST. The youths of Chavuma let us Unite, Support each other, Work together and build the mighty Chavuma.

11/02/2026

I firmly believe in the resilience, fortitude, and determination of the Chavuma people.

Chavuma still bleeds from the open wounds of the recent past, marked by confusion, disputes, division, and inequity. The impact of this period, spanning from 2021 to 2026, is evident in the daily struggles of Chavuma's residents as they strive for survival, peace, unity, and overcoming persistent challenges.

Despite this, the community's hope and unwavering resolve to establish a just and inclusive district remain unshaken.

The people of Chavuma bear the scars of their experiences, yet they also harbor dreams of genuine peace, unity, shared progress, and a district where every individual has a place, regardless of their political affiliation, origin, or beliefs.

However, intolerance and the lack of acceptance of others, solely due to their non-affiliation with the ruling party (UPND), persist as a significant impediment to our district's development.

Overcoming this challenge is a collective responsibility. Through dialogue, mutual respect, and inclusion, we can transform the remnants of recent disputes, confusion, and division into lessons of unity, ultimately rendering political diversity a strength rather than a source of division.

Chavuma deserves to reconcile with itself and move forward in unison towards a future of dignity, freedom, and prosperity for all.

Mutonga Branch in Chiyeke area of Chavuma Central was delighted today to welcome Mr. Jordan Mukuma the aspiring councilor of Chavuma Central in Chavuma District, North Western.

The residents of the said area proudly informed Mr. Mukuma that they desire change, indeed change for a better Chavuma. Furthermore, they expressed their discontent with the current Chavuma UPND administration, which they believe has tarnished the image of Chavuma, resulting in the loss of lives, fear, division, and unequal rights and opportunities. Mr. Mukuma advised the people of Mutonga that change is imminent under the leadership of the Chair 🪑 Chitwamo movement led by Hon. Martin Kashika Sondoyi.

He reminded his supporters that they voted for unity, peace, development, fairness, equal rights, and opportunities, but instead, the UPND has divided them, shot innocent people, and created confusion. Mr. Mukuma also reminded them that some innocent children of Chavuma are currently incarcerated.

The aspiring councilor expressed his determination to fight for the people of Chavuma, stating that he cannot abandon his people to suffer. He assured them that he will lead the people of Chavuma in truth, love, and honesty.

The people of Mutonga area thanked Mr. Mukuma and promised to vote for the Chitwamo movement in the forthcoming elections.

Fellow citizens, I respect and greet you all. I invite you all to build our future together. Your skills combined with my vision will help us achieve the extraordinary. I see a better way to bring development to the people of Kalombo/ Kamisamba.

Help me turn this dream into our reality and change things for the better for everyone. This isn't just my vision; it's our chance to create something lasting. Let's build it side by side and leave a mark.

I have the vision, but I need your hands, minds, and hearts to make it happen now. It's not just about my idea, but I believe that moving forward together, we will create a more inclusive and understanding community where every voice is heard, and every individual is valued.

To achieve this, I need your unique strengths in this movement. Help me become the kind of leader the people will need someday. I believe that when we unite our efforts and walk this path together, we won't just achieve this vision; we'll create something far greater than any one of us could alone.
Let's build an environment for ourselves and the generation to come.

I thank you. May God bless you all and bless our land. May this day bring you joy and happiness.
Jordan Mukuma, Aspiring Councilor of Kalombo/Kamisamba ward.
