Rabbit urine and droppings can be a nutrient-rich natural fertilizer for plants.

Here's how to use them:

Rabbit Droppings (Manure):
1. Composting: Mix rabbit droppings with other compost materials like dry leaves, straw, or grass clippings. This helps balance the nutrient content and reduces odors.
2. Direct Application: Use dried rabbit manure pellets or powder as a fertilizer. Mix it into the soil or sprinkle it around plants.
3. Tea or Liquid Fertilizer: Steep rabbit manure in water (1:10 ratio) for 24-48 hours. Strain and use the liquid as a fertilizer.

Rabbit Urine:
1. Dilution: Dilute rabbit urine with water (1:10 or 1:20 ratio) to avoid burning plant roots.
2. Foliar Spray: Use diluted rabbit urine as a foliar spray to provide micronutrients to plants.

Benefits:
1. Rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK)
2. Improves soil structure and fertility
3. Supports beneficial microbial activity
4. Organic and eco-friendly

Precautions:
1. Handle rabbit waste hygienically to avoid disease transmission
2. Wear gloves when handling manure or urine
3. Store properly to prevent contamination and odors

HOW TO INJECT YOUR RABBITS IVERMECTIN FOR DEWORMING AND CARE OF EXTERNAL PARASITE.

WEIGHT: Get an accurate weight of your rabbit in a kilogram.

CALCULATE THE DOSAGE: Usual dose is 0.2-0.4 mg per kg. If you’re using 1% ivermectin injection (10 mg/ml):

0.2 mg/kg = 0.02 ml per kg
0.4 mg/kg = 0.04 ml per kg
If you're injecting a 2kg rabbit at 0.4 mg/kg, that will be 0.08 ml.

SYRINGE AND NEED: Use a small syringe for accurate dosing. An insulin syringe (0.3-0.5 ml) is best because of its tiny markings. Use the 21g needle (normally have green plastic at the bottom)

DRAW UP THE MEDICINE: Use a sterile needle, remove air bubbles and double check the volume to avoid overdose.

RESTRAIN: Calmly restrain your rabbit and keep it head supported.

SITE OF INJECTION: Loose the skin over the shoulders or behind the shoulder blade.

MAKE THE SKIN TENT: Lift a fold of skin over the shoulder with your fingers to create a pocket.

INSERTE THE NEEDLE: Insert the needle into the base of the tent under the skin, not into muscle because ivermectin is to be injected subceutenously. Inject slowly. If you see a leakage, pause and adjust slightly.

WITHDRAW AND PRESS: Remove the needle and press the spot gently for a few seconds.

NOTE: Don't use it for your pregnant rabbits to avoid abortion.

Organic Pesticides: Natural Solutions for Crop Protection

To ensure the effectiveness and safety of home-made organic pesticides, apply them during cooler times of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon, to prevent crop damage. Here are several natural remedies to control pests in your crops:

1. Garlic Extract
Crush fresh garlic and mix with hot water. Allow the mixture to cool for two hours, then spray it on your crops to manage aphids effectively.

2. Mexican Sunflower (Tithonia)
Crush 2 kg of Tithonia leaves and soak them in 4 liters of warm water for 2–3 hours (or in cold water for two days). Use this solution to control caterpillars.

3. Thorn Apple (Datura stramonium)
Combine 1 kg of leaves, fruits, and branch stems. Crush them, boil in 4 liters of water for 20 minutes, and let the mixture cool. Spray it to combat scale insects, aphids, and leaf miners (Tuta absoluta).

4. Pawpaw Leaf Extract
Crush 1 kg of fresh green pawpaw leaves and boil in 4 liters of water for 20 minutes. Allow the solution to cool before spraying it on crops to manage scale insects and aphids.

5. Wood Ash
Burn maize combs to produce dry ash. Scatter this ash around the base of plants, especially vegetable seedlings, to deter cutworms in fields prone to cutworm infestations.

6. Hot Pepper Spray
Crush 500 grams of ripe hot pepper fruits and mix with 5 liters of water. Boil the mixture for 20 minutes, strain, and dilute with an additional 5 liters of water. Add 50 ml of mild dish soap (non-detergent) before spraying to control ants (termites), aphids, flies, and caterpillars.

7. Lantana Camara Ash
Collect branches and leaves of Lantana camara and burn them to create ash. Broadcast this ash across affected areas to eliminate ants and worms.

These organic solutions are simple, effective, and environmentally friendly alternatives for managing pests on your crops. Implementing them not only helps protect your plants but also promotes sustainabl

Understanding Rabbit Reproductive Physiology

To successfully breed rabbits, it's important to comprehend their reproductive physiology.

💥Rabbits are known for their high fertility rates and short gestation periods.

💎Females, called , are induced ovulators, meaning they release eggs in response to mating....

💎 Male rabbits known as buck, have a unique reproductive anatomy.

Female rabbit /Doe- get to best maturity and puberty stage at the age of 4 months-6 months depending on the breed

The bigger the breed , the longer the maturity stage.

Male rabbit /Buck get totally mature for mating from 5 month old above

For me

I will recommend:
Let your doe be
5-6 months before crossing

Buck be 7-8 months before crossing

Understanding the reproductive cycle and the optimal breeding age for rabbits will help maximize breeding success.

Does it mean Does can't get pregnant before the age of 4 months ?

It can

But the survival of the kits is NOT CERTAIN

IT CAN ;
-K1LL THEM
-EAT THEM
-SLEEP ON THEM
-REFUSE TO BREADSFEED THEM AND MANY OTHER THING...

Why?

Parental instinct of rabbit is not a follow come, it develops with maturity

And it starts earlier after 3 months old and keep growing

So by now you should know the best age your does and buck should be before crossing/mating them

I do use cross interchangeably with mate...but they mean different thing o

-Cross: mating two rabbits that are of diff breeds(like mating hyla and chinchilla)

-Mate: means allowing two rabbits to do the do(sexual copulation).

So mate is a general term for making rabbit copulate....
