We are very pleased to share that the results of the ColaLife trial
have now been published in a peer-reviewed article by the BMJ. We wish to congratulate everybody involved in the trial and the subsequent scale-up in Zambia.
In 2019 the DHS survey estimated a national coverage of 35% of ORS+Zinc. That's up from around 1% before this work started.
This work was the launchpad for the application to WHO to change the recommendation that ORS and Zinc be co-packaged and the current effort, through ORSZCA, to accelerate the adoption of this new recommendation worldwide.
