FROM THE NATIONAL DIRECTOR – MISS COSMO ZAMBIA

As National Director for Miss Cosmo Zambia under ARM Model Management, I feel it is important to address the recent conversations surrounding the appointment of K***a Mwamulima as Miss Cosmo Zambia.

First and foremost, K***a’s appointment as Miss Cosmo Zambia was not a sudden decision. This appointment was made last year, even before the Big Five Pageant was held. However, as management, we believed it was important for her to first complete her reign and responsibilities with honor, dignity, and respect as Miss Universe Zambia before transitioning into the Miss Cosmo Zambia crown. We wanted her journey to reflect grace, maturity, and professionalism, and she has done exactly that.

At ARM Model Management, we do not make decisions lightly. We understand what is required on international platforms, and we understand the responsibility of carrying the Zambian flag. Miss Cosmo required a strong candidate , someone with experience, confidence, maturity, and a powerful runway presence capable of cementing Zambia’s presence on the global stage. K***a possesses those qualities, and that is why this decision was made.

However, beyond crowns, titles, and competitions, we must never forget that these contestants are human beings. They are young women and young men with emotions, dreams, families, and mental health that can be deeply affected by the things said about them online.

Social media has become a place where people feel comfortable tearing others down without considering the emotional damage it causes. The insults, attacks, bullying, and hateful comments may seem small to some people, but they can leave permanent emotional scars on these young girls and boys who are simply chasing their dreams and representing their country.

It is unfair to attack K***a over decisions she did not make herself. No crown is worth destroying someone’s peace, confidence, or mental well-being. As an industry, we must learn to correct one another with kindness, support growth, and create an environment where young people feel safe to dream boldly without fear of humiliation.

One thing life continues to teach us is that you cannot fight the favor of God. When grace and purpose align, doors open according to His will, regardless of public opinion.

We therefore ask the public, supporters, fans, and the pageantry community to show love, respect, and maturity. Let us celebrate our representatives, protect their mental and emotional well-being, and continue building an industry that inspires rather than destroys.

K***a Mwamulima deserves support, respect, and encouragement as she takes on this new responsibility of representing Zambia on another international stage.

And Yes we love K***a a lot and it’s not her fault that we love her it’s because her Aura is beautiful to experience and we will not kill her dreams.
