Today, Proactive Community Action (PCA) proudly joins the global community in commemorating World Health Day 2026 under the theme, “Together for health: Stand with science.”

As an organization committed to promoting community well-being, PCA recognizes that achieving better health outcomes requires collective effort, informed decision-making, and a strong reliance on scientific knowledge. This year’s theme reminds us that health is not an individual pursuit, but a shared responsibility that calls for collaboration among communities, institutions, and nations.

In our communities, we continue to witness the importance of evidence-based approaches in addressing health challenges such as access to healthcare, disease prevention, and health education. By standing with science, we empower individuals with accurate information, encourage healthy behaviors, and strengthen systems that support long-term well-being.

PCA remains dedicated to advocating for inclusive health interventions, supporting vulnerable populations, and promoting awareness on key health issues affecting our society. We believe that when communities are informed and united, they become stronger and more resilient.

As we mark this important day, let us all commit to working together, trusting science, and building healthier communities for generations to come.

HEALTHIER LIVES, SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Yesterday, Proactive Community Action (PCA) proudly commemorated National Youth Day in remarkable style.

In collaboration with the Zambia University College of Technology Debate Society at Zambia University College of Technology, we successfully hosted an engaging Inter-Faculty Debate under the inspiring theme “Arise and Soar.”

The debate brought together brilliant minds from the School of Engineering, School of Business, and School of IT, creating a powerful platform for young people to exchange ideas, sharpen their critical thinking, and amplify the voice of youth in national development.

The event was a great success and truly reflected the spirit of youth empowerment, collaboration, and intellectual growth. PCA remains committed to creating opportunities that inspire young people to rise, lead, and soar to greater heights.

As we continue the year, we look back at some moments from the Copperbelt University Fresher vs Fresher Inter-Association Debate, where Proactive Community Action proudly took part.

These snapshots capture our commitment to youth participation, dialogue, and leadership development values that continue to guide our work throughout the year. More engagements, more impact, and more conversations that matter ahead.

Proactive Community Action was proud to be part of the Copperbelt University Fresher vs Fresher Inter-Association Debate, organized by the Copperbelt University Debate Society starting the year on a high note through meaningful engagement and intellectual exchange.

The debate brought together various student associations to deliberate on critical national and global issues, including governance, gender equality, environmental policy, artificial intelligence, and international relations.
