Happy Heavenly Birthday Tata KK.

It remains one of the greatest honors of my life to have celebrated the birthday of Kenneth Kaunda, a man whose name is forever etched in the foundation of our nation. As Zambia’s founding father and first President, Dr. Kaunda stood for Unity, Peace, and Human dignity, guiding the country through its earliest and most defining years with humility and unwavering conviction.

Beyond history books, I count myself deeply privileged to have encountered him personally on several occasions. At the United Church of Zambia Kabwata St. Paul’s congregation, I witnessed his quiet devotion and grace in fellowship. At the Lusaka Playhouse, where he served as our Patron of the Lusaka Theatre Cooperation Society, his support for the arts reflected his belief in culture as a pillar of national identity. And at Munali Secondary School, among fellow alumni, his presence was both inspiring and deeply unifying, reminding us of the enduring values of service and excellence.

To have shared these moments with such an extraordinary leader is a privilege I hold with profound gratitude. His legacy continues to inspire, and his life remains a guiding light for generations to come.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Tata.

Perhaps the clearest takeaway here is that the park management should simply adjust their closing time to 16:10 if that reflects their actual practice. It would eliminate confusion and prevent unnecessary disputes.

As it stands, Pompi was fully within the stipulated operating hours, and clients are entitled to rely on what is officially communicated. If the park cannot honor its own schedule, then the responsibility lies with management to correct it, not with patrons to guess unwritten rules.

My kidneys, my opinion.
