We couldn’t agree more with this message. Clean water and safe sanitation are not luxuries — they are the foundation for every child to learn, grow, and thrive.
Today, we celebrate Africa’s heritage, resilience, and potential. As we mark Africa Day 2026, we recognise that sustainable water and safe sanitation are essential for a climate-resilient future and for every child to thrive.
When communities have access to clean water, girls stay in school, school gardens flourish, and families strengthen their livelihoods. Safe water and sanitation protect children from preventable diseases and create opportunities for a better future.
This Africa Day, we call on leaders, partners, and communities to accelerate investment in climate-smart water and sanitation systems for every child.
Together, we can build an Africa where every child reaches their full potential.

To the mothers who lead communities, run businesses and still show up every day.
Behind every great mission, there is a woman who refuses to give up on it.
At Swalisano, that’s two women — Chembo Litana and Jane Thiongo
Today we celebrate them and all the mothers making a difference!

Today, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of Zambia’s heroes — past and present.
At Swalisano, we’re inspired by their legacy to continue driving impact and building a better future for all.
At Waya Camp in Kabwe, 30 farmers joined trainers for a hands-on EPICSA field day training complete with sessions delivered wherever there was a surface, the side of a vehicle was no exception.
This is what real participatory learning can look like.
EPICSA is a tool that helps farmers visualise and analyse data and already existing resources available to them, helping make better farming choices in line with ever-changing weather patterns. To make the learning process almost seamless, Swalisano Advisory managed background logistics from transport to meals and stationery.
We’re proud to work alongside the University of Reading, Zambia Agriculture, Kasisi Agricultural Training Centre, The University Of Zambia (UNZA) and Ministry of Green Economy and Environment, CIAT to support practical, farmer-focused learning experiences like this.

Phase 2 of the EPICSA Training is officially underway in Kabwe!
With Day 1 and 2 wrapped without a hitch —Swalisano is proud to be coordinating logistics and training support for this important capacity-building initiative. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue supporting impactful training across Zambia. 🌱📍
