About Us

FlavaSome was founded in 2019 by Tionge Chirwa, a sweets devotee with a desire to create beautiful desserts that taste as good as they look. FlavaSome can create everything from 2D cakes, children's cakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, custom cookies, and various mini desserts.

Tionge began baking in 2002, under the tutelage of her mother, creating desserts and cakes for family and friends. After learning the basics and improving on them, she decided to start her own company. Her love for visual design helps to create a deliciously beautiful experience for all clients. Although she has not attended pastry school, Tionge received her degree in Public Administration from The University of Zambia in Lusaka.

Servicing Kitwe and surrounding areas, FlavaSome can provide for all your cake and dessert needs for both large events and intimate celebrations. Delivery is available with notice. Please give us a call to schedule a consultation.

Please allow 2 weeks in advance for ordering for all custom cake orders. Rush fees may apply if custom cake orders are not placed a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. We don’t accept custom cake orders without at least 5 business days of advance notice.
