RE: DEADLINE FOR EXCHANGE OF OLD CURRENCY – 31 MARCH 2026

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be advised that the Bank of Zambia has announced that the deadline for exchanging old currency banknotes is 31 March 2026.

Effective 1 April 2026, all old banknotes will cease to be legal tender. Accordingly, WHENCE FINANCIAL SERVICES WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT OLD BANKNOTES FOR LOAN CASH PAYMENTS AFTER THIS DATE.

We strongly encourage all our customers to take immediate action and exchange any remaining old banknotes before the deadline. Exchanges can be conducted at designated cash exchange points, including all commercial banks.

Kindly ensure compliance within the stipulated timeframe to avoid any inconvenience.
